Two weeks had passed since the end of Bubba Bubbaphant's conversion.
He was already used to us, and he seemed very involved in our plans.

Without a doubt, this guy is such a pit of surprises!

With the conversion, his intelligence seemed to increase much more than before, even if it was initially high. He seemed to always be up to something, but he never expressed himself.
At first he was very reserved and quiet, he looked at us with distrust. But little by little, in a matter of two weeks, he began to settle in. He spoke from time to time, he was still very reserved, but he was efficient and hardworking.
His empathy also faded, and he developed a touch of selfishness that, in the long run, could be a virtue for his missions.
We still don't know exactly that he has developed a sadistic side...but if we end up finding those Smiling Critters, we will have to put him to the test.

As far as trust level goes, it's higher with Gossy and me. Bubba does not respect Bully as a leader, rather he fears him or is intimidated by him.
With us, he is more comfortable. But if we had to put a podium of who cares most about him, the first place goes to GossipGoat.

She is always with him. She calms him down when he gets upset, and they are always chatting as if they have been friends for years.

Now, the one who is a little afraid is BullyBull.
And it is because he believes that he could be dismissed as leader if Bubba's temper became too high and he planned a betrayal.
I calmed him down, and we made an oath that it hurt me to do, because I liked Bubba's company, but I had to appease BullyBull's feelings; If Bubba had a plan to betray us, he would be killed.
Obviously, I didn't say any of this to Bubba.

Everything seems to be going well. For now.
And today, something great happened.

Today I was in the studio with Gossy, talking a little, when Bubba came in.
He whispered something in GossipGoat's ear. I think I heard "discovery", and later Bully's name.

HypnaHyena: What's wrong?

GossipGoat: Bubba has found something. Go with him, I'll look for the boss.

GossipGoat left, and I left with Bubba.
He took me to one of the rooms in Gossy's sector, which never had any use except as a storage room.
Bubba had moved some boxes away, and to my surprise, there was a hatch.
The room was always very messy, even when we first arrived at the hideout. So we never investigated what could be there.
Who would think that there was a manhole in that warehouse?

HypnaHyena: Wow! Since when is this here?

Bubba Bubbaphant: Well...how do you not know?

HypnaHyena: I've never noticed this...! What a discovery, Bub!

Bubba Bubbaphant: ...Bub?

HypnaHyena: You don't like it?

Bubba Bubbaphant: Well, er...it's all getting used to?

At that moment Gossy and Bully arrived. The latter had a crowbar in his hands.

BullyBull: What's wrong? She has been insisting to me a lot about picking up a crowbar.

HypnaHyena: Look!

I moved away from it and showed him the hatch.
BullyBull was very amazed to see that on the ground. Bubba seemed surprised that no one had noticed the existence of that hatch.
