Somehow the Ice sneaked up on them out of nowhere. The whole area turned into a winter paradise within moments. None of them were prepared for it and wood to burn was quickly running out. There was only one thing left to do to survive, call in the big guns and recall their heater from his mission.

It happened out of no where. Not even two hours earlier they were sailing in the most beautiful weather that the New World had to offer. And now, now they were stuck. Literally stuck in the middle of the ocean.

"W-what the F-fuck??????" Thatch stammered, teeth clattering onto each other as he came out of the mess-hall. As a commander he had been informed that some kind of storm had formed, but he hadn't come out to check. If he was needed they would have called for him. It would be chaos if everyone ran out at the same time. They had specific groups rotating between tasks if a storm broke out.

"Get back inside-yoi."

"F-first tell me w-why i-it's so cold!"

Marco raised an eyebrow at his brother and simply waved to.... Everywhere.

"S-stupid Ch-chicken! Y-you know w-what I- ah! Pops!" Thatch yelped as he was picked up and moved but soon calmed again and nestled against his pops side, huddled under his warm coat. "Thanks Pops."

"It's no problem, son, I don't want my children sick."

"And I don't want you sick, Pops." Marco turned around to them, "Now you got him, go inside with him."

The elder scoffed at him, "This is merely a small breeze."

"A small breeze he says." Marco pinched the bridge of his nose, walking to the side of the ship to look over it. "How's it looking????" He called down to Rakuyo, Izou and Namur all standing on a rescue boat they had lowered.

Rakuyo that had just pulled his spiked ball back up, shook his head. Same with izou who's gun barrel was still smoking. And Namur launched a last water attack down, but... nothing. Yelling up what they all noticed.

"It's not budging! We're totally frozen in. We've not even made a freaking crack!"

Marco cursed and called for them to be raised back up while he walked around deck back and forth.

It had been so sunny, not a cloud in the sky. And suddenly a strong wind gushed passed them, growing colder and colder by the second. They had prepped for a storm, but... a storm never came. Instead the icey winds blinded them from cheer force for a couple of minutes before it suddenly let up and it was like they were never there. Only.... Their whole area had turned into a winter wonderland.

The sea, the freaking whole ocean was frozen. It was like Aokiji had awakened his fruit or something. As far as he could see, everything was frozen solid and temperatures seemed to keep dropping.

The reason the three commanders were down was to try and see if they could break through the ice and continue their journey, but if none of them could even crack it... Maybe Pops could, but Pops couldn't make the ice disappear. If it was that thick and Pops made an earthquake, it was very possible a sharp shard would pierce their sweet Moby, and that was the last thing they needed.

"Pops-yoi!" Marco called out, definitely seeing the man just blow his nose into his coat, "..."

"Yes?"
