It had been a long day at the hospital as usual, and Jack wanted a meer moment away from it all so he decided to take the cart of bodies from the week over to Tim at the graveyard, he dropped off the bodies and watched Tim and the other grave diggers begin their work. But as Jack took a moment to bask in the setting sun he spotted a sweet sight that made his heart throb,

Y/n, walked the edge of the graveyard, In a long grey dress her curls pulled back with a bow as usual, her black lace parasol protecting her from the sun, a pair of black gloves to protect her hands,

Jack immediately got giddy at the sight of his little doll, He felt like his heart stopped for a moment as his eyes locked onto Y/n. He smiled seeing how adorable she looked, still, she looked like the sweet picture of a china doll in a toy store window. He loved the way she walked along the edge, her parasol causing shadows across her skin. She just looked like such a cute little doll... A little... Beautiful... Doll... Oh... He was definitely smitten for sure.

Y/n spots him and gives Jack a gentle smile and a small wave

Jack felt his heart flutter at the sight of Y/n smiling and waving at him. He gave her a little wave back, hoping his fondness didn't show clearly on his face. He was a grown-ass adult man swooning over a girl and he didn't even care. He was enamoured with her like some lovesick teenager. Jack waited for Y/n to approach him and he couldn't help but watch his Doll walk. Oh, how her dress would sway with each step, as well as the adorable parasol held in her delicate little gloved hands. Her gloves even made her hands look so dainty. Oh, how adorable she was. Jack snapped out of his thoughts as Y/n stopped in front of him and met his gaze with her gorgeous eyes. "Hello Miss Y/L/N, how are you today my dear?"

"Good Afternoon Doctor Dawkins, I'm alright thank you, I wanted to take in the nice sunset on the gravestones, yourself?"

"I'm doing quite well, just dropping off some fresh bodies with Tim," Jack smiled as he spoke, He had to admit, seeing her standing just in front of the graveyard in her grey dress was a stunning sight. "Have you been well since our last meeting?" He asked,

"Somewhat... Less well than I'd like," she admits,

Jack felt his expression immediately drop as he heard Y/n's response. She didn't sound well at all, and he was immediately concerned for his little doll. "What's the matter? Are you feeling ill at all? Is there something bothering you Y/n?" Jack's tone was immediately laced with worry and concern.

"no, no, I'm quite well medically anyway. It's just... Father is all," she said,

Jack sighed as he heard Y/n's explanation if that bastard had done something to his doll. "What has your father done now?" Jack tried sounding calm even though his blood boiled just thinking of Y/n's horrible father.

"he is insisting I put more focus into my duties, of social events and my... Quest for a husband," she sighed, "Would you like to walk with me?"

Jack's expression darkened as Y/n explained the problem. He was infuriated that the bastard was still putting so much pressure on her, especially when it came to finding a husband. Jack sighed and gave Y/n a gentle smile. "Of course." He said softly, unable to refuse the opportunity to spend time with Y/n. "I'd love to take you on a walk in the graveyard,"

She smiled and happily took his arm so the two walked through the graveyard grass between the various stones,

There was something... Special about walking with her like they were a couple. Jack felt that weird feeling in his chest again and he was reminded of his new realisation... He was really facing his feelings for Y/n. Feelings that were... Quite intense.

"Please tell me if the goings on at the hospital doctor Dawkins, I've hardly found the time to come and visit"

"It hasn't been too eventful, to be honest, Y/n, just the usual." He gave her a soft smile as he spoke, his hand gently holding her arm that was linked with his, "A few patients with a simple bad stomach and a few with the flu."
