" we're taking the train there?' jungkook's eyes widened as tatyana pulled up to the station. "yeah, my love. it'll be fun," delilah said, planting a gentle kiss on his cheek as she stepped out of the car. "be careful, you two, and call me when you're done," tatyana called out as she drove away.
delilah held jungkook's hand as they walked into the station and swiped their metro cards. they boarded the subway and settled into their seats, jungkook wrapping his arms around delilah's shoulder and kissing her forehead. "i want you to know something, baby,' she said.
she rested her head on his chest, her eyes locked on his. "when we arrive, don't make eye contact with anyone or they'll think you're judging them and they'll start problems," she warned. jungkook hummed thoughtfully, his eyes never leaving hers.
"what if they look at me with judgmental eyes?" he asked, his brow furrowing in concern. "can i curse them out in korean?' delilah chuckled and playfully rolled her eyes. "we'll curse them out together, my love. nobody will look at my baby when I'm around." she pecked his lips, and he nuzzled their noses softly.
"are we going to manhattan first, babe?' he asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
'yes, baby, and then we can visit times square," delilah replied, smiling up at him. she pecked his lips again, and he returned the kiss.----
when they finally emerged from the subway station, jungkook's eyes widened as he took in the towering skyscrapers and bustling streets of midtown. "wow, it's so... big," he breathed, his eyes fixed on the towering skyscrapers.
delilah's soft coos enveloped jungkook as she cradled his cheeks in her hands, saying "look at those eyes." jungkook's doe eyes sparkled ever so brightly, as if this was his first life. those eyes that held thousands of galaxies. jungkook's cheeks flushed a deep crimson as he buried his face in her neck, hugging her waist.
as they walked, they stopped to admire the street performers and vendors, jungkook watching in fascination as a street musician played a haunting melody on his violin. the pair continued to walk, jungkook's eyes remained fixed on the sights around him, drinking in every detail of the vibrant street life.
delilah chuckled, "you're so fascinated by everything, aren't you?" she teased. jungkook giggled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. delilah reached up and brushed a stray strand of hair from his forehead. "my baby," she murmured, a hint of pride in her voice. then, leaning in, she planted a small kiss on his lips.
jungkook melted under her touch, a blush creeping up his neck.
he couldn't resist. he leaned in and kissed her back, this time deeper, pulling her closer with his free hand. delilah hand rested on his tatted forearm, anchoring herself as they rolled their tongues in each other's mouths.they were oblivious to the world around them, lost in their own bubble. people walking by cast a quick, amused glance before continuing on their way. but for jungkook and delilah, time seemed to stand still.
whispers of 'i love you' slipped through the kiss as they finally pulled away. jungkook rested his forehead against hers, gazing into her eyes.
"excuse me?" a street stood before them, his chocolatey skin glowing. he held a sketchbook and charcoal pencil in his hands, a hopeful smile gracing his lips. "would you two be interested in a portrait?" delilah glanced at jungkook who nodded his head. he leaned in again, this time stealing a quick kiss from the tip of her nose.
delilah turned back to the artist, "yes, of course." she grinned. the artist clapped his hands with delight. "excellent! just stand however you feel most comfortable," he instructed, gesturing towards the bustling street scene behind them.
