It was shocking for me. I mean I never expected Gd to stoop so low. The way he loves Xavier, it's hard to believe that he'll rape his own grandson.
Why would he do that? There must be something.
Xavier and I were seated on a couch in the balcony. His head was resting on my lap and my hand was slowly caressing his hair. His eyes were closed.
“What are your further plans?” I asked.
“Against Lucas?” He questioned.
“Yep.”
“Bringing your father down is easy but I don’t have any proof against Lucas. It was years ago.”
“But you must have something, right?”
“I did have a plan but that was being a stranger to Lucas and getting close to him, using him and making him confess his crimes. But my identity is revealed to him now, I cannot do it myself and I do not trust anyone with this.”
I thought about it for a minute then an idea struck me.
“How about I do it?” I suggested.
“What?” He opened his eyes suddenly.
“Yeah. I can do it for you. Lucy loves me and I am sure, if I say anything against you, I will be able to manipulate him to confess his crimes.”
“No. It's my fight, Viviana. I don't want you to get involved.”
“Did you forget? It's our fight, Xavier. Not yours alone.” I placed my hand on his chest. “This heart does not only belong to you. You once said, I own this place so it's our fight and I will do my level best to help you.”
“And what if he hurts you?”
“He wouldn't. He is my Uncle.”
“What if he does?” He held my hand that was on his chest. “Viviana, I have lost everyone in my life and you are the only one I have right now. I don't wanna lose you.”
“You won’t lose me.”
“He is dangerous.”
“Jesus! I want to help you.”
“I can help myself. I do not need your help.” He almost shouted at me, sitting up on the couch.
“Okay. Why are you shouting?”
“I am not shouting.” Well he shouted this time too.
“Xavier.” He held his head, trying to stop himself from losing his mind. I wrapped my arms around his arms and rested my head on his shoulder “Nothing will happen to me, Xavier.”
“I lost Nathan and he went to fight for me. I don’t wanna lose you for my fight.”
“You won’t lose me. I’ll act in front of him as if I am in his support, that's it. I’ll get all the information you want. It’s simple Xavier.”
He shook his head “No. You are not going back to them.”
“Okay, how about you wait for me downstairs and you’ll be with me on call. If there is any problem you can come to save me.”
He stared at me with a clenched jaw. Clearly he was mad at me.
But does he have any other option? I don’t think so.
“Let’s not take revenge then. Let it go.” He said finally.
“Xavier, you have wanted this. You wanted justice for yourself and Nathan, you can’t give up now.”
