I find myself in the same repeating pattern that I swore off the last time
Nobody changes much
And I didn't change but
I blindly believed you'd love me for me and wouldn't just leave like you swore to me each night
For beautiful nine months
You didn't mean it enough
I dream of picnics and parks, breakfasts in the dark
You seem lost
My plans of marriage and sun, dreaming just for fun
You had not
I bind myself to the same repeating pattern that I poured my soul into
Nobody changes much
I didn't change but
I blindly relieve when you say that you love me and say okay I'll stay for one more week, then we're through
My beautiful love
What happened to us?
Still, I dream of picnics and parks, breakfasts in the dark
You seem lost
I planned for marriage and sun, dreaming just for fun
You had not
