After the little celebratory dinner, I followed Mo to her room. My nerves were shot, and I was drunk on the three Monsters I drank during the past hour. I felt like I was going to explode. Mo opened the door, pulled out a chair, and gestured to it. "Sit."
"Girl, I'm running on 3 Monsters. What's going on?" I say, leg bouncing.
"Me and Walker broke up.' I would've spit out my drink if I had one in, but I didn't. "And there's a little bit there to kinda explain." I sat up, and paid my best attention, even if the drinks were affecting my focus.
"Spill."
"So I know about your... feelings for Walker. And I know his true feelings for you." My eyes widened as I plastered a panicked smile on my face. "Since the paper rings."
"Oh," I said. "But you didn't have to do that, especially if you liked him," I finished, feeling guilty of ruining a relationship.
"Jade, no," Mo said, smiling. "We broke up because he may have dated me out of pity." I gasped slightly, and Mo chuckled. "That's not the only reason. Do you know what comphet is?"
"What?" I asked, processing. Was this something I should know?
"Look it up really quickly," and I did.
"Compulsory heterosexuality, often shortened to comphet, is the theory that heterosexuality is assumed and enforced upon people by a patriarchal and heteronormative society," I said, but I didn't understand it. "Simpler?"
"I dated Walker because... I was in denial that I liked a girl." This was another one of those moments where I would've spit out my drink if I had one. "Don't worry, I'll figure it out on my own, but that's why. And to be honest, I think there's something there with you and Walker. He talks about you quite a lot."
"Yeah, I've heard," I said, sighing. "So was that kiss planned? Or was it his choice?"
"It was planned. He wanted to surprise you. Get a genuine reaction from you," Mo said, and I was taken aback by it. "He really likes you J." Silence filled the room.
"So, who is it? Who's the girl?" I asked, breaking the silence.
"Not you," she said, wringing her wrists. "I'll tell you when I get there." I nodded. "Hey, let's do a final movie night tomorrow. We leave on Saturday, which means tomorrow is our last day together."
"Sure. I'll let Walker know?" I offer a smile creeping up on my face. She nods in agreement, a smile growing on hers. "Thanks, Mo." I ran out to find Walker. When I got to Walker's trailer, I knocked a goofy grin on my face. He opened the door, and he returned the grin.
"She told you everything, huh?" he said, rubbing the back of his head as I blushed slightly. "Well, come on in then." As I walked in, I felt his hand brush against mine, and I could've sworn I felt a spark.

The next day, I finished packing up all my things. The things left out of my suitcase were my blanket, my charger, my headphones, and all the things that I needed to survive an airport. I grabbed my suitcases and my backpack, dragging them over to Momona's trailer. We were supposed to leave from her trailer, but we don't know what the plan was for tomorrow. When I knocked, Mo looked at my bags and then backed up at me. "We're leaving at the same time but I'm not letting y'all sleepin' my trailer," Mo said, but she also helped me grab my suitcases. "You can bring them in here." I chuckled and nodded, helping her with the rest.
"Hey, J," Walker said, munching on some Goldfish on Mo's couch. "We're watching Deadpool 2 first." After my things were settled in, I hopped on the couch with him, stealing some. "Hey!"
"Sorry, mine now." Mo settled into her bed after turning off her lights. "Now quiet." We watched the movie for a while, the only other sound being the crackers Walker and I were munching on. After 30 minutes of the movie, I snuck a quick side glance at Walker, then away once I realized he was looking at me. I scooched over slightly, and I felt his arm get comfortable. Un/fortunately for me, that meant that he wrapped his arm around my waist. I twisted a bit, ending up with my head on his shoulder. Anybody who hadn't seen the full story would say this is too fast, but I felt this to be the perfect ending to the beginning. We watched the rest of the movie like that, cuddled up against one another. I slipped my hand into his free hand around the hour mark, and we finished the first movie like that.

After our third movie, Mo got up and turned her LED lights to blue, lighting up the trailer. "You guys don't have to go back to your trailers, but you can't stay here," she said, smiling. "You can leave your bags here though!" I smiled and nodded, gently moving Walker's head off my shoulder, which had fallen asleep there after our second movie. He woke up, looking around and rubbing his eyes.
"Evening, sleepyhead," I said, and he smiled, turning his face away to yawn.
"Are we getting kicked out?" he asked, getting up and giving me his hand so I could get up.
"Yup," I replied, then turned to Mo. "When do I come over here to get my stuff in the car?"
"Like ten. Flight's at one." I nod and start to leave, but Mo's voice makes me pause. "It's Cailey. The girl I was talking about? It's Cailey," Mo blurted, and my eyes widened, turning to Walker. His face was still normal, like he had already known. "Oh, he knows."
"Oh," I said. "Wait, why did you tell me?"
"I thought you should know. And I trust you. You have to keep this between us though, okay?"
"Secret's safe with me," I said, smiling as I remembered Cailey and I's conversation from around two weeks ago. I grabbed Walker's hand and walked out together.
"Where are we going?" he asked as we walked in the dark.
"Wherever you want. My trailer is packed and boring."
"I don't have blankets anymore. You?" I nod. "Your place is then."
"I'm all yours then," I smiled as I walked with him to my trailer, snuggled up against him as a way to avoid the chilly November air of Vancouver.
