Kaash wo pal paida hi na ho
Jis pal me Nazar tu na aaye
Agar kahin aaisa pal ho
To us pal me hi mar jaaye
“ Mantra shuru kariye pandit ji “ Aahan said in his dominating tone.
Just then, a girl’s voice cut through the silence, “Not so fast.”
Everyone turned to see Divika standing with a sharp knife pressed against Ruhi’s throat.
Seeing the tables turning, Virat quickly raised his gun and aimed it at Mihika’s head.
Everything happened so suddenly that Aahan didn’t have a chance to react. Until now, everything had been going according to his plan, everything was under his control. But with Divika’s sudden action, the situation was slipping from his grasp. He realized he had made a mistake by not ensuring that everyone was there in the hall was accounted for. Now, Ruhi’s life was in Divika’s hands.
Aahan’s mind raced as he tried to think of a way to get through her. The tension in the hall was palpable, and every second counted. He couldn’t afford any missteps now. He took a deep breath, his eyes locking onto Divika’s.
“Divika, you don’t want to do this,” Aahan said, trying to keep his voice steady. “Think about what you’re doing.”
Divika tightened her grip on the knife. “I know exactly what I’m doing, AR. You think you can just come in here and take over? You underestimated us.”
Virat, with his gun still trained on Mihika, smirked. “Looks like your perfect plan isn’t so perfect after all.”
Darshit, feeling helpless, looked at Aahan, silently pleading for a solution. Mihika’s eyes were filled with fear and shock, but she was trying to digest everything that was going on, specially virat, her vir bhai, who was pointing a gun at her little princess.
Aahan glanced at his men, who were ready to act on his command. But he knew any sudden movement could lead to disaster. He needed to defuse the situation without Ruhi or Mihika getting hurt.
“Alright, let’s all calm down,” Aahan said, raising his hands slightly. “We can talk this out. No one needs to get hurt.”
Divika laughed, a harsh sound in the tense silence. “Talk? You think we can just talk this out? You’ve got some nerve.”
Aahan took a step forward, trying to project calm and control. “Divika, Let Ruhi go, and we can discuss this.”
For a moment, it seemed like Divika was considering his words. Aahan took one more step But then she pressed the knife closer to Ruhi’s throat, drawing a small line of blood. Ruhi winced but stayed silent, her eyes wide with fear.
“One more step, and she dies,” Divika hissed.
Aahan stopped, his mind racing for a solution.
“ Alright, fine.” Aahan said.
“ Ab sach sach batao tum kon ho?” Divika said.
Aahan stayed silent.
“ warna—“ Divika said, pressing the knife a little .
