Intense Detester

CHAPTER 14

At 10’O clock in the morning…

“ You’re  still awake “ Aahan asked Darshit, who was still sitting on the couch, looking mihika and picture at the big screen.

“ Yaa, couldn’t  sleep “ Darshit said.

“ Pagal ho jaygega “ Aahan said.

“ Wo to mai pehle se hun, mihi ke pyaar me pagal” Darshit said.

“ Nonsense. Aacha, when are you planning to talk to your parents” Aahan asked.

“ Shit. Shit. Shit. I literally forgot about that” Darshit said.

“ Ab yaad dila diya na, jaake thorda so le, fir chale jaana baat karne “ Aahan said.

“ Haan, but , mai kya soch raha tha ki pehle plan discuss karlete hai, then I’ll  go talk to them” Darshit said.

“ What plan?” Aahan asked cluelessly.

“ Are mihika ko shaddi se bhagane ka” Darshit said.

Aahan was drinking coffee. When he heard Darshit’s  words, the coffee literally came out of his mouth.

“ You alright?” Darshit asked out of concern.

“ ya ya, I’m  fine.”

“ Ye achanak se bhagne ka plan kaise ban gaya” Aahan asked.

Darshit was about to answer him when his phone rang. He took the phone.

“ It’s  mihi” darshit jumped.

“ stop being dramatic and pick it up “ Aahan said.

“ hmm” Darshit picked up the call. It was Ruhi on the other said.

“ Darshit, is your brother around.” Ruhi asked .

“ Haan, yahin hai” Darshit said looking at Aahan.

“ great, put the phone on the speaker.” Ruhi said.

Darshit followed her words. He put the phone on speaker and sat beside Aahan.

“ Yes bhabhi. Kahiye, bro is listening”  Darshit said .

“ Aapne kya sochke bhagne ka faisla kia. Are you out of your mind” Ruhi said rebucking.

“ maine?” Aahan asked.

“ Nahi to kya maine? It was you , who was dying to help them in anyway , right?” Ruhi said.

“ lekin mai—“

“ Aaisa wahiyad idea aapke dimag me aa bhi kaise sakta hai, maine socha tha aap samajhdaar honge, lekin nahi, aap to inse bhi 2 kadam aage hai” Ruhi was scolding Aahan and he was silently listening to her.

Ruhi’s scolding didn’t seem to anger Aahan at all; instead, a faint smile graced his face. Aahan, who would typically flare up at others’ remarks, was calmly listening to Ruhi’s scolding.
