When the second week of November started, Weather turned cold, mountains around the school became icy gray and the lake like chilled steel. Every morning the ground was covered in frost. In all Slytherin dorms and common room brightly lit fireplaces crackled merrily, warming up their cold flesh. But even cold wasn't able lessen the students excitement as it was the start of quidditch season. On saturday that week would be their first match, Slytherin vs Gryffindor.
Alecs watched as the three boys getting so hypered up that they couldn't even pay attention in to the classes. Pansy too was very excited but daphne was indifferent saying that she didn't have anything against the sport but it wasn't something she was interested in. Alecs could understand that.

"How were you not interested in quidditch? " the quidditch fans turned to daphne, who only raised an eyebrow at the question.
" I simply just have other interests " She replied with a shrug.
The quidditch fans seemed baffled by the answer but didn't pry it.

Alecs, was however really curious. It was her first time seeing a match. Anyone and everyone always talked about quidditch like what an amazing sport it it and all that jazz. Draco wouldn't even shut his mouth since they announced the date of first match. Her uncles too had said so many things and stories about the game. She also knew that her dad was one of the youngest seekers of the century. Many even told her that he was one of the best captains that slytherin house ever had. So she was really looking forward to see it for herself.

Regulus's friends family and slytherin quidditch team all clapped and congratulated regulus for his achievement , who couldn't help but let out a pleased smile.

Saturday morning was bright and cold. The Great Hall was filled with the delicious smell of breakfast and the cheerful chatter of everyone looking forward to a good Quidditch match. Alecs watched with raised eyebrow as draco inhale his breakfast as fast as he could without looking disgusting -not even glancing up to greet blaize when he sat next to him.

By eleven o'clock the whole school seemed to be out in the stands around the Quidditch pitch. Many had binoculars. The seats might be raised high in the air, but it was still difficult to see what was going on sometimes. Alecs, Theo and pansy made their way to where draco and blaize was at, who had went early to get good seats. Daphne wasn't there since she didn't like quidditch, she was in their common room reading with few other seventh years who were studying for their NEWTs.
Opposite to them in gryffindor tower a banner read 'Potter for President' was hung with large Gryffindor lion drawn underneat.
Then the match began.

quidditch fans cheered loudly, specially the marauders with james in the front, making alecs stir in her sleep. But didn't wakeup.

Both teams were equally talented. Alecs had to admit gryffindor team was good. Even potter was doing an okay job. Guess his father's genes had gave him something other than bad eye sight and deep hatred from Professor Snape. Alecs thought as she watched potter dodge a bludger.

others laughed at that while james and harry sent insulted looks at the sleeping girl. Which was returned by tenfold from her family.

Draco and blaize went nuts everytime slytherin scored. Pansy and theo was pretty excited too, and since all her friends enjoying it much, alecs couldn't help but joining them. They all cheered, screamed everytime slytherin scored and booed when gryffindor did.
Half way into the game slytherin was in possession of the quaffle, when people started to pointing up at Potter all over the stands. His broom had started to roll over and over, with him managing to hold on. Then the whole crowd gasped. Potter's broom had given a wild jerk and he swung off it, now dangling from it, holding on with one hand.

Lily screamed at the screen while james pulled his future sun in to his arms. Both looking extremely pale and trembling. Their close friends too was staring in horror at what was happening. Younger students in every house closed their eyes afraid to see what would happen.
