PJO(TLT) P.18- ℝ𝕖𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕤𝕖 𝔸 ℤ𝕖𝕓𝕣𝕒 𝕀𝕟 𝕍𝕖𝕘𝕒𝕤? 𝕃𝕖𝕥'𝕤 𝔻𝕠 𝕀𝕥!

Alecs looked up to see annabeth was shaking her with a look that asked 'are you ok?' and saw few feet away from her, grover doing the same to percy. The boy too woke up with a start and immediately sought out alecs. They both shared a deep troubled look while grover said,

" The truck's stopped, We think they're coming to check on the animals."

" You know, If you kids ever get a break, I think it would be more unbelievable than knowing greek gods actually exist." Abraxas shook his head as he say this. Feeling sorry for the kids. But to his surprise the three demigods and grover laughed.

" Believe me Mr. Malfoy . If we ever got a break, we would be more surprised than you." Percy brought alecs closer to him as he spoke. They had only finished three wars and he wasn't sure about the future either.

" Yeah. There is no really rest for the wicked. " Alecs said with a heavy dose irony.

Neither Alecs nor percy got a chance to say or do anything before annabeth urgently hissed,

"Hide!" Immediately, She just put on her magic cap and disappeared. And alecs turned invisible within a second but unfortunately Grover and percy had to dive behind feed sacks and hope they looked like turnips. Alecs wanted to snort but held back since she felt sorry for the boys.

" Well I see it. Jackson really could resemble a turnip. " Draco looked at the screen and then back at percy. Looking like he had really seen some similarities.

" Oh yeah. I can see your similarities to a certain animal. " Percy shot back and watched happily as his friends and alecs burst into laughter and draco rolled his eyes in annoyance.

" I thought we agreed not to mention that, or should I bring the fact that you too turned into a g-"

" Okay that's enough. No spoilers. " Alecs immediately interrupted. Partly because of the spoilers but also because of the fact that both incidents are touché subjects to her brother and fiancé.

She stilled as the trailer doors creaked open. Sunlight and heat poured in. Alecs knew it wasn't ideal but she couldn't help but took a step forward from next to percy and stepped into the patch of sunlight. She immediately felt energized and refreshed.

" Man!" Alecs saw one of the truckers said, waving his hand in front of his ugly nose. Ughh.. uglier than these animals! You should be the one in the cage. Alecs thought viciously, mouth curled in to a sneer.

" Well, Look at that. Reggi's little angel could actually be mean. " Evan let out a loud cackle but stopped abruptly due to the fact that regulus had thrown stinging hex at him.

" I wish I hauled appliances." He climbed inside and poured some water from a jug into the animals' dishes.

" You hot, big boy?" he asked the lion, then splashed the rest of the bucket right in the lion's face. Alecs hands clenched in to fists so tightly that her knuckles turned while and her extremely short nails dug into her palms, leaving crescent moon shaped marks.

She was snapped back when the lion roared in indignation and silently went to it's side, unknown to the man.

" Yeah, yeah, yeah," the man mocked the animal. Alecs wished she could let the lion out in this second, to see if that idiot would be so daring then.

" She is so vicious sometimes. " Ron muttered to harry and got the back of his head slapped by hermione, who was an animal lover.

The trucker threw the antelope a squashed-looking Happy Meal bag. He smirked at the zebra.
