Alecs was on a mission. A nearly impossible mission. She was searching for a certain daughter of Athena, who doesn't wanted to be found." Oh , c'mon anni !" Alecs grumbled as she made her way from Cabin 6 and to the last place she knew Annabeth would be, The beach. She watched the deep blue water clashed with stormy grey sky as she walked. It's only been two weeks since she came back and the weather was still getting worse. No one knew anything, and to top it all Chiron wasn't there either.
Alecs found who she was looking for halfway across the beach, sitting under a tree while reading a book. Of course she was reading. It 's anni ! Alecs thought as she walked faster, calling
"Anni !" Annabeth' head snapped up at the sound of her best friends voice and saw her jogging towards her." Hey Lex, what's up ?"
" The sky !" Alecs replied as if it was obvious. Annabeth rolled her eyes. This joke was getting old.
" It really was. You used that every time." Blaize groaned, remembering all the times he heard it from her.
" I know, that's why it's funny. Rather than making you laugh, it annoyed you. " Alecs replied with cheeky grin. Her family laughing at her while her friends groaned again. Percy just winked at her.
" Really funny lexi, tell me what you need?" Annabeth asked wanting to go back to her reading. Alecs fake gasped,
" Why would you think I need something? FYI I don't need anything!"
" Yeah right! Now spill!" Alecs huffed but sat down next to her best friend, pulling out a letter from her denim short's pocket.
" Got a letter from Grover few days ago. He said it's getting bad anni," she told her. Annabeth sensing this was serious, closed her book and gave her full attention to Alecs." Why what happened ?"
" Remember that boy Grover told me about?" Alecs asked her best friend.
" Yeah ?" Annabeth answered confused about where this was going.
" He was attacked. At the school, by a fury."
"A what? " Many asked in complete confusion. But the demigods didn't answered, letting them to see for themselves.
Annabeth gasped and looked around, when nothing happened, she slapped Alecs hand and snapped.
" Lexi ! How many times do we had to tell you ? Names has power. "
" Like you - know - who ?" A second year slytherin asked Annabeth but it was Alecs who replied.
" No I don't know who -" Percy , Blaize and Theo laughed at that while Annabeth shook her head.
" But no, You fear Voldemort. That's why you refuse to say his name. But in greek world names actually had power."
Alecs winced and rubbed her stinging arm, sending Annabeth a small glare,
" Ok fine. I forgot. That's not the point anni. "
Annabeth shook her head in exasperation. But asked nevertheless.
" How? And what happened?"
" She was there as their pre- algebra or whatever teacher and the boy killed it." Alecs told nonchalantly.Percy and Grover shared a look. Remembering it very well.
Annabeth gaped.
" He did what ?" Alecs glanced at her and then shrugged.
" Killed it. Do you think we could be friends ? " She asked the daughter of Athena. Who was still processing the information she got. Then she registered Alecs question. She raised a eyebrow at her best friend.
