The sterile smell of the hospital room did little to calm Sana's nerves as she sat by Jihyo's bedside, holding her hand. The surgery had gone well, and now all she could do was wait for Jihyo to wake up. She squeezed Jihyo's hand gently, willing her to open her eyes.

Moments later, Jihyo's eyelids fluttered open. She blinked a few times, her vision slowly coming into focus. "Sana?" she croaked, her voice weak but filled with recognition.

"Jihyo! You're awake," Sana said, relief washing over her. She brushed a few strands of hair away from Jihyo's forehead. "How are you feeling?"

"Tired," Jihyo admitted, her eyes searching Sana's face. "But better now that you're here."

Sana took a deep breath, her heart pounding. She had been waiting for this moment, gathering the courage to say what had been on her mind for so long. "Jihyo, there's something I need to tell you."

Jihyo looked at her, curiosity and concern in her eyes. "What is it?"

Sana leaned closer, her voice trembling. "I love you, Jihyo. I've loved you for a long time. I couldn't keep it to myself any longer."

Before Jihyo could respond, Sana pressed her lips to Jihyo's in a tender, heartfelt kiss. The contact sent a surge of emotions through both of them. Jihyo's heart rate monitor began to beep rapidly, indicating her rising heart rate.

Jihyo's eyes widened in surprise, but she didn't pull away. When they finally broke apart, both of them were breathless. "Sana..." Jihyo whispered, her face flushed.

At that moment, Nayeon and Jeongyeon entered the room, their expressions turning to alarm as they saw the heart rate monitor spiking.

"Sana, what happened?" Nayeon asked, her voice urgent.

"I'll call the nurse!" Sana said quickly, pressing the call button. She turned back to Jihyo, worry etched on her face. "Are you okay?"

A nurse rushed in, assessing the situation. She checked Jihyo's vitals, making sure everything was under control. "Her heart rate is elevated, but it's stabilizing now. Just a reaction to the excitement, it seems."

As the nurse adjusted the monitor, Jeongyeon noticed the redness on Jihyo's face. "Why is your face so red, Jihyo?"

Sana, unable to contain her emotions any longer, admitted, "I kissed her."

Nayeon and Jeongyeon exchanged shocked glances, but before they could say anything, Jihyo spoke up. "And I'm glad she did."

The nurse finished her checkup, giving Jihyo a reassuring smile. "You're doing fine. Just try to rest and keep calm."

As the nurse left, Nayeon and Jeongyeon approached the bed, still processing what they had just learned. "So... you two?" Nayeon began, a hint of a smile on her face.

Jihyo nodded, looking at Sana with adoration. "Yeah, us two."

Jeongyeon grinned, shaking her head in disbelief. "Well, it's about time. We were starting to wonder when you'd figure it out."

Sana blushed, but she couldn't hide her happiness. "I guess the timing was just right."Nayeon chuckled, placing a hand on Jihyo's shoulder. "Just take care of yourself, okay? We need our leader back in top shape."

Jihyo smiled, feeling a warmth in her heart that had nothing to do with her surgery. "I will. And thank you, Sana, for being here. For everything."

Sana leaned in, kissing Jihyo's forehead gently. "Always, Jihyo."As they settled in, the group felt a new sense of closeness, the bond of friendship and now love making them stronger than ever. And in that small hospital room, amidst the beeping monitors and the lingering scent of antiseptic, a new chapter of their lives began-one filled with love, support, and endless possibilities.
