Jihyo had always prided herself on her discipline. She had mastered the art of self-control, especially when it came to maintaining the harmony of TWICE. As the leader, it was her job to keep everything in order, to ensure that nothing disrupted the balance they had worked so hard to build.

But Mina... Mina was something else entirely.

Jihyo had tried — really tried — to keep her feelings in check. She had tried to ignore the way her heart sped up every time Mina smiled at her, the way her stomach fluttered when Mina's fingers would accidentally brush against hers, and the way her voice became soft and teasing whenever Mina was around.

And Mina, for her part, didn't make it any easier. She knew exactly what she was doing, how she would lean a little closer than necessary, and how she would let her gaze linger just a moment too long. It was as if Mina enjoyed watching Jihyo squirm, relished seeing the usually composed leader lose her cool, even if just for a second.

Jihyo had tried to resist. She had.

But one night, while the rest of the members were out enjoying some much-needed downtime, Mina and Jihyo found themselves alone in the dorm. They were supposed to be watching a movie, some lighthearted rom-com that Mina had picked, but Jihyo hadn't paid attention to a single frame. Her mind was elsewhere — specifically on the girl sitting next to her, who was now gently running her fingers through Jihyo's hair.

It was innocent enough at first, Mina's fingers moving slowly, softly, through Jihyo's long locks, but the sensation was enough to send waves of warmth coursing through Jihyo's body. Mina seemed entirely focused on what she was doing, her touch delicate, but Jihyo could feel her heart pounding in her chest, every nerve alight with awareness.

Jihyo turned to look at Mina, her resolve weakening. Mina met her gaze, her eyes soft and knowing, a small smile tugging at her lips. "Jihyo," she whispered, and Jihyo felt her breath hitch at the way Mina said her name — like it was something precious, something more.

Without thinking, Jihyo leaned in, closing the distance between them. Her lips found Mina's, hesitant at first, but the moment they touched, everything else fell away. Mina kissed her back immediately like she'd been waiting for this like she'd been wanting this just as much as Jihyo had.

It was soft at first, tentative, both of them testing the waters, but then Mina's hands slid around Jihyo's neck, pulling her closer, and all bets were off. Jihyo's hands moved to Mina's waist, pulling her onto her lap, deepening the kiss as her resolve crumbled complex couldn't believe how good it felt, how right it felt. Mina tasted like mint and something sweeter, and Jihyo felt dizzy like she was falling and didn't want to stop. She pulled back just enough to breathe, her forehead resting against Mina's, both of them panting softly.

"You have no idea how long I've wanted to do that," Mina whispered, her voice breathless, a smile playing on her lips.

Jihyo laughed, a mix of relief and disbelief. "I think I might have an idea," she replied before capturing Mina's lips again.

Neither of them noticed the sound of the front door opening, or the shuffling footsteps approaching the living room.

"Hey, we're ba—" Nayeon's voice trailed off as she stood frozen in the doorway, eyes wide. Behind her, Sana and Momo craned their necks to see what had made Nayeon stop mid-sentence.

There, in the middle of the living room, were Mina and Jihyo, very clearly caught in the middle of a passionate kiss, Mina perched on Jihyo's lap, hands tangled in her hair.

Sana let out a scandalized gasp, while Momo's jaw dropped. "Well, that escalated quickly," Momo muttered, a smirk spreading across her face.

Jihyo and Mina broke apart at the sudden interruption, both of them turning to face their stunned members. Jihyo's face flushed a deep red, while Mina just looked amused like she found the whole situation funny.

Nayeon, finally recovering from her shock, put her hands on her hips and said, "Well, this explains a lot."

"What do you mean?" Jihyo asked, trying to sound casual as if they hadn't just been caught making out on the couch.

Nayeon rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on, Jihyo. Did you think we wouldn't notice the way you've been looking at each other lately? The tension between you two was so thick we could cut it with a knife."

Sana, ever the instigator, grinned and added, "You two should have just told us! This is way more entertaining than the movie we were watching."

Jihyo groaned, covering her face with her hands. "This is so embarrassing..."

Mina, however, just laughed, still perched comfortably on Jihyo's lap. "Well, I guess the secret's out now."

Tzuyu, who had been watching quietly from the bacbehindly spoke up. "So... are we going to talk about this, or just pretend it didn't happen?"

Jihyo sighed, knowing there was no way out of this one. She glanced at Mina, who gave her a reassuring smile. "Fine," Jihyo said, turning to face the others. "Let's talk."

And with that, the living room erupted into a chaotic mix of laughter, teasing, and questions, but Jihyo didn't mind. She felt Mina's hand squeeze hers, and that was all she needed to know that everything would be okay — even if they were caught in the most awkward way possible.
