Jihyo had always known Sana had a possessive streak. But tonight, the tables were turned, and it wasn't her usual playful jealousy surfacing—it was something deeper.
It started at one of their company events, where Sana had been talking a little too closely with one of the male staff members. Jihyo had tried to ignore the way it made her blood simmer, the way her chest tightened every time she glanced over to see Sana's bright smile directed at someone else. But the longer it went on, the harder it was for her to hide it.
Jihyo was jealous.
She wasn't the type to get easily flustered or territorial, but there was something about seeing Sana with someone else, even in such an innocent context, that made her stomach churn. Jihyo knew it was ridiculous; Sana was hers, and she had nothing to worry about. But that didn't stop the small possessive voice in her head from growing louder.
Sana, ever the social butterfly, didn't seem to notice how much it was affecting Jihyo until much later. They had just returned to their shared apartment, and Sana was chattering excitedly about the event, oblivious to the storm brewing in Jihyo's mind.
"So, wasn't that party fun? I really hit it off with the new staff member, he's actually from—"
Before Sana could finish, Jihyo interrupted, her voice clipped. "You seemed to be hitting it off with him *too* well."
Sana blinked, clearly taken aback. "What?"
"You heard me," Jihyo muttered, crossing her arms, her jaw clenched.
Sana stared at her, confused, before a small smirk began to tug at the corners of her lips. "Wait, are you... jealous?"
Jihyo didn't respond immediately, her silence enough of an answer.
Sana's smirk grew, and she stepped closer, reaching out to brush her fingers against Jihyo's cheek. "Aw, baby, you're not really worried about him, are you?"
"I'm not worried," Jihyo grumbled, though the way her arms tightened around herself said otherwise. "I just didn't like how close he was getting to you."
Sana chuckled softly, her fingers tracing down Jihyo's jawline. "You're cute when you're jealous, you know that?"
Jihyo shot her a glare, but it lacked any real heat. "I'm not being cute, Sana. I'm serious."
Sana's gaze softened as she stepped even closer, wrapping her arms around Jihyo's waist. "I know, I know," she murmured, pressing a kiss to Jihyo's temple. "But you don't need to be jealous. You're the only one I want."
Jihyo's muscles tensed under Sana's touch, her frustration still simmering beneath the surface. But as much as she wanted to stay upset, Sana's warmth, her soft voice, and the sincerity in her eyes made it impossible for her to hold onto her anger.
Still, the possessiveness that had taken root in Jihyo's heart wouldn't let go that easily. A thought crossed her mind, one that made her pulse quicken.
She grabbed Sana by the waist, pulling her closer in one swift motion, her lips capturing Sana's in a deep, demanding kiss. Sana let out a small gasp, clearly surprised by Jihyo's sudden intensity, but she melted into it just as quickly, her arms looping around Jihyo's neck.
When Jihyo pulled away, her eyes dark with something fierce, she whispered, "You're mine, Sana."
Sana blinked up at her, her breath shallow as she registered the shift in Jihyo's demeanor. The usual calm and composed leader was gone, replaced by someone more possessive, more insistent. And Sana... liked it.
"Prove it," Sana whispered, her voice teasing but laced with anticipation.
Jihyo's lips curved into a smirk, her hands already slipping beneath Sana's shirt, fingers grazing over her skin. "Oh, I will."
And she did.
That night, Jihyo made sure Sana knew exactly who she belonged to. She left a trail of marks on Sana's neck, her shoulders, and her collarbone, her lips lingering on every inch of skin she could find. Sana had never seen this side of Jihyo before, this possessive, almost territorial side, and she found herself getting lost in it, her body responding to every touch, every kiss.
Jihyo wasn't just marking her—she was claiming her, reminding her that no one else could ever make her feel this way.
When they finally collapsed back onto the bed, both of them breathless and tangled in the sheets, Jihyo pressed a soft kiss to the bruise she had left on Sana's neck, a satisfied smile on her face.
"Now everyone will know you're mine," Jihyo murmured.
Sana chuckled, though her voice was weak from exhaustion. "I didn't think you had it in you to be this jealous."
Jihyo shrugged, her fingers tracing patterns on Sana's arm. "I guess I'm full of surprises."
Sana tilted her head to look at Jihyo, her smile soft and affectionate. "I love you, you know that?"
Jihyo's expression softened as well, and she leaned down to press a gentle kiss to Sana's lips. "I love you too. And I'm sorry for getting jealous. I just... I can't help it sometimes."
Sana cupped Jihyo's cheek, her thumb brushing over her skin. "It's okay. As long as you know I'm yours."
Jihyo's heart swelled at the words, and she rested her forehead against Sana's, feeling a warmth spread through her chest.
"You're mine," she whispered again, more softly this time.Sana smiled, her eyes fluttering shut as she relaxed into Jihyo's embrace. "Always."
