Momo sat in her studio, adjusting the settings on her camera as she waited for the next shoot to begin. The air was quiet, filled with the soft hum of lights and equipment being arranged. She liked these moments, the calm before the whirlwind of creativity, where she could focus entirely on the craft. But today, it was harder to concentrate. She knew why—Jihyo.
Jihyo was a top model, confident and effortlessly beautiful. She commanded every set she walked onto, and today would be no different. But unlike the others who admired Jihyo from a distance, Momo had a secret.
They were dating.
It had started months ago, late nights after shoots where they'd linger just a little too long in the studio, sharing quiet conversations that turned into something more. No one knew—could know. In their world, dating a client was a scandal waiting to happen, but neither could resist the connection that had formed between them.
Momo adjusted her camera strap, hearing the door to the dressing room open. Her breath hitched slightly as Jihyo stepped out, looking as stunning as always. She was wearing a sleek black dress that hugged her curves in all the right places, but it wasn't the outfit that held Momo's attention—it was Jihyo herself. The way her eyes sparkled with mischief, the way her lips quirked into a small smile, like she knew exactly what she was doing to Momo.
"Ready?" Jihyo asked, her voice playful.
Momo nodded, trying to keep her professional composure. She raised the camera to her face, hiding her flushed cheeks as she focused on the shot. Jihyo posed effortlessly, her eyes locking with Momo's through the lens. It was impossible not to get lost in her gaze, but Momo forced herself to remain steady.
Click. Click.
The session went on like that, tension building with every shot. There was something electric between them, a silent conversation that no one else could hear. But as professional as Momo tried to be, she could feel the cracks in her façade. Especially when Jihyo pushed the boundaries.
At one point, Jihyo walked over to Momo, her movements slow and deliberate. Momo's breath caught as Jihyo sat down on her lap, the camera still in Momo's hand. Jihyo placed a hand on Momo's chest, her lips curving into that teasing smile.
"Momo," she whispered, leaning in close. "You're staring."
Momo swallowed, her heart racing. "I'm working," she replied, her voice quieter than she intended.
Jihyo chuckled softly, her breath warm against Momo's ear. "Are you?"
There was a moment of silence, the world around them fading away. All that mattered was the closeness between them, the unspoken words hanging in the air. Jihyo's hand brushed against Momo's cheek, and the photographer's resolve crumbled.
"I can't focus with you like this," Momo admitted, her voice barely a whisper.
Jihyo smirked, leaning in until their lips were only inches apart. "Maybe I don't want you to focus."
Before Momo could respond, Jihyo kissed her—a slow, lingering kiss that made Momo forget about the studio, the shoot, the world outside. It was just the two of them, tangled in the moment they'd been waiting for all day.
When they pulled away, Momo looked at Jihyo, her eyes filled with a mixture of adoration and frustration. "You're impossible."
"And you love it," Jihyo teased, brushing a strand of hair behind Momo's ear.
Momo smiled despite herself. She did love it—loved her, even if they had to keep it a secret.
