Jihyo sat at the grand piano in the corner of their practice room, her fingers gliding effortlessly over the keys as a soft, lilting melody filled the space. It was late, and the rest of the TWICE members had already left for the dorms, but Jihyo found solace in these quiet moments, letting the music carry away the day's stress.

Dahyun quietly slipped into the room, careful not to disturb Jihyo's playing. She leaned against the doorframe, a small smile playing on her lips as she watched the leader lost in her music. There was something mesmerizing about the way Jihyo played, her eyes closed, every note filled with emotion.

After a few minutes, Jihyo sensed Dahyun's presence and opened her eyes, her fingers still dancing over the keys. "Hey," she said softly, a warm smile spreading across her face.

"Hey," Dahyun replied, pushing off the doorframe and walking over to the piano. "Couldn't sleep?"

Jihyo shrugged. "Just needed some time to unwind. How about you?"

Dahyun took a seat on the bench next to Jihyo, their shoulders brushing. "I heard the music and had to come see. You play so beautifully, Jihyo."

A blush crept up Jihyo's cheeks at the compliment. "Thank you, Dahyun. It means a lot coming from you."

They sat in comfortable silence for a moment, the music still lingering in the air. Then, with a mischievous glint in her eye, Dahyun reached over and pressed a random key, causing a discordant note to ring out.

Jihyo laughed, a sound like a tinkling bell. "What are you doing?" she asked, trying to suppress her giggles.

"Just adding my special touch," Dahyun said with a grin. "Here, let me try."

Jihyo moved aside slightly to give Dahyun more room, watching as the younger girl hesitantly placed her hands on the keys. She played a simple melody, a bit clumsy but filled with sincerity."Not bad," Jihyo said, her eyes twinkling. "But let me show you how it's done."

Together, they played a duet, their laughter and the harmonious blend of notes filling the room. As the song came to an end, they both sat back, catching their breath.

"You know," Jihyo said softly, "I think this is my favorite way to spend an evening."

"Mine too," Dahyun agreed, her eyes meeting Jihyo's. There was a moment of understanding, of unspoken feelings shared between them.

Without thinking, Dahyun leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to Jihyo's cheek. "Thank you for always being here for me," she whispered.

Jihyo's heart fluttered, and she turned to face Dahyun fully, her hand reaching up to cup the younger girl's cheek. "And thank you for being you, Dahyun."

As they sat there, the world outside seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them in their own little bubble of happiness. The melody of their hearts intertwined, creating a symphony that neither of them would ever forget.\
