SWASTIKA'S POV
"She is not going anywhere."
I heard his stern voice. A current ran down my spine. His voice is different from the previous one; it's totally changed. I can feel the protectiveness in his voice.
His firm glare fixed on him like any moment he'd kill him. I trembled just at the thought of the murder.
I gather all my courage to look at him, his eyes burning with anger and turning the darkest shade of red.
"Sir, your time is over." The monster tried to sound normal, but his expression spoke louder than his words. I hid myself behind this stranger man, but he was not unnoticed by the monster.
"Come here, why are you behaving like you are so pure now? Everyone is waiting for you to serve them." Before he could complete his venomous words, a punch landed on his face, making him immediately land on the floor. That punch is the hardest and sounds like someone broke a stone.
Blood started oozing from the corner of his lips. I couldn't believe my eyes that what I just saw in front of me was so powerful.
"Dare to speak one more word? I'll show to hell tonight actually, you don't have the option; you need to go there either you want to or not." The stranger man muttered sternly. I was completely blank to think about anything. Is it true that now I'll be free from here? , Is he really going to save me?
There are a lot of questions rising in my mind, but everything shifted aside when I heard another thud sound.
I looked in the direction where the sound appeared and saw the other man who came with the monster laying on the floor, panting heavily.
"You are crossing your limits she is our property." The monster muttered, glaring at me, and then turned to face him. I couldn't move my body even a bit; it felt like I had been struck in my place.
"You don't even have the status to buy any women to call her property fucker," he roared, making me tremble even as they became completely silent, my eyes tearing up.
"Kiske aadmi ho?"
(Whose man are you?) The stranger man asked them. I can't see his face, but I can feel his expression.
I fisted the clothes over my thighs, and my heart acted to get my freedom. What if that monster and his mate kill this man? I can't let someone die because of me.
"I'm not telling you, I just want her right now," he uttered. I bit my lower lips to prevent the sobbing sound from coming out; it feels like I'll die soon.
"She is not going anywhere; mark my words; otherwise, this will be your last day in this world." Stranger man said sternly, To be honest, it's surprising to someone stranger who is ready to do anything for a stranger like me.
"Leave her," That monster muttered while gritting his teeth. He stood up and started taking steps towards me, but before he could reach me, the stranger man grabbed his collar and pulled him back.
He threw him on the wall, and his forehead got hit on the wall. A gasp escaped from my mouth.
The other man was trying to stop him from behind, but he hit his stomach with his elbow.
They started fighting with each other; he is so strong that there is not a single bruise on his face.
He kicked them on the floor, and they both crashed into the floor, their faces covered with fresh, deep red blood.
I kept looking at them when they got a huge towering frame. I lifted my face to see his face; he was already looking at me.
"I hope you are okay," he muttered with a flat tone. I gulped nervously, and I suddenly started feeling my throat dry up.
"Y-yes." I managed to reply to him with so much difficulty that he nodded and turned around to leave.
"Where are you going?" I couldn't help but ask him, and he didn't turn back. I immediately stepped forward.
"My men will help you reach your place; don't worry, no one can harm you; you will be safe with them; just tell them where you want to go." He uttered in a deep, calm voice, smoothing my stress somehow, but right now I can't trust anyone except him. I want him only. Wait, but where will I go? I can't go to my village because they'll again sell me, and this time if they get me, I will probably never be able to walk.
"I don't have a place," I murmured in a low voice more like a whisper. I kept my eyes on his back.
"Okay, come with me." I heard his calming voice like I never had before. I saw him extend his hand for me. I furrowed my eyebrows, but at the same time, I felt overwhelmed. I smiled with sadness and gently took his hand. He immediately tightened his hold around my hand. I gasped but didn't say anything.
He took a step forward when suddenly I felt someone hold my ankle so tightly that I couldn't even move my leg. I saw downward, and it was the monster who was tightly grabbing my ankle with a disgusting smile on his face. When suddenly my eyes fell on his other hand, my eyes got widened with shock and fear to look at the gun.
"Gun!" I immediately shouted, and before he could raise the gun,
I heard the voice of the gun, and he screamed loud enough that maybe everyone who was present in the hall would definitely hear this sound when I saw blood fall from the centre of his forehead.
"Aaaaanhhhhhhh!" I screamed and covered my ears with my palm and tightly closed my eyes, but again I heard another scream, making me push my palm more into my ears to prevent any sound and the same voice of the gun, but I am not in the state to see what's happening in front of me.
Everything fell silent—no movements, no voice, nothing. I'm shivering so bad that I started sobbing silently when I felt someone's heavy hand on my shoulder.
"Aaanhhh, help me!" I shouted and immediately jerked off his hand and took a few steps back, hurriedly making a good distance from him.
"I know you are scared right now, but trust me, this is needed for them." He whispered, putting his hand up with concern and especially no regret in his gaze, making me even more scared. He took a step closer to me, but I immediately moved back when suddenly I hit my leg in something and was about to lose my balance. I closed my eyes to feel the upcoming pain when suddenly a strong muscular arm wrapped around my waist pulled me closer to him.
I slightly opened my eyes and saw his face. I shivered like a leaf in his hold, and I placed my hand on his chest and tried to push him, but when I saw his expression, it changed. I thought he didn't like my touch, but to my surprise, he didn't leave me or push me.
"Leave me," I murmured in a pleading tone, almost on the verge of crying. I pouted my lips unknowingly, only to realise his eyebrows furrowed. I looked at him in confusion, my lips trembling.
"Don't do that again," he stated, making me furrow my eyebrows within seconds. What does he mean by this? What is he talking about?
"Just leave me; I don't want anything from you," I said, shuttering in the words. Right now, I only want to save myself from him; what if he gets angry and shoots me like them?
"I will not," His words shook me to my core; he sounds so different. I started shaking for a for a few minutes. I was dying to go with him, but now everything has changed.
"No, no, I'll not." I murmured; it's more like a whisper, but in this silence, anyone can easily hear each other's breathing sounds as well.
"You don't have an option, and what do you think if I leave and you can go anywhere? Trust me, they have thousands of men under their trafficking." He uttered in a firm tone, and I shivered with the look he is giving me right now. That is something else I can't figure out, but I never messed up so badly here. I never thought they had thousands of people with them to do this. It's impossible to skip from them without him, but he just killed two people in front of me like it doesn't matter.
"Don't think about them; they deserve it, and they got it." He added that while deeply looking into my soul, I felt a lump form in my throat. I shivered with that, and his grip tightened around me.
"I don't want to go with you." I don't know what I'm saying. Just a few seconds ago, I decided that only he'd save me, and right now I'm saying the totally opposite. I saw he gritted his teeth.
"Only I can save you from this quagmire come with me otherwise, they will ruin your life like this," He muttered with the most calm and soft voice. My mind immediately stopped for a second. Maybe he is absolutely right.
"What if I don't want to go?" How stupid someone can be! He literally gave me the last option, and I still want to know what he will do if he says no. I mentally slapped myself for asking this question.
"Then I'm going," He muttered with his flat tone, no emotion on his face, nothing. He removed his hand from my waist, and suddenly I felt emptiness without his touch. My eyebrows knit in confusion, more like a shock.
He turned around, and before he took a step forward, I immediately held his left hand tightly to prevent any movement. I don't know why I did that, but I feel like I'm losing someone.
"I want to go with you," I said with determination this time, finally the word I never thought I would say after seeing murder in front of my eyes.
"Are you sure?" he asked, still standing like that, even though I didn't leave his hand and tighten my grip as well.
"Yes, I'm sure more than anything else," I uttered in a low voice and lowered my head. I inhaled a sharp breath to relax myself a little bit.
"Okay," he stated. Just then, we heard so many faded footsteps coming towards us. I shivered. Maybe he is right; they have thousands of people who will make my life a living hell.
But he looks completely normal, like he didn't fear anyone in this whole world. He turned around, started moving somewhere, and almost dragged me with him.
"Where are we going?" I couldn't help and asked him; he didn't say anything and just stopped in front of the balcony. I looked at him in pure shock and fear.
"What are you planning to do with me?" My fear is completely hearable in my voice, my words stuttering with panic and terror. He turned around and looked into my eyes; his eyes softened when they met mine.
"Stop using your brain, and from now on, I don't want to hear a single word from your mouth, understood?" He said it sternly, making me gulp nervously. I wasn't able to utter a single word and nodded.
He looked down from the balcony. I am just trying to know his intention, but nothing is sensible right at this moment. There is complete silence when the footsteps are so clear, like they have almost reached the door.
I started shivering badly. I never experienced this kind of terror feeling in my life. Why is it that I'm getting this kind of pain? Why can't I live like a normal person?
"Come," I heard his voice. I turned around to see him; he was standing in front of me while extending his right hand towards me. I didn't think twice and placed my hand upon his.
He pulled me closer to him, almost with my chest pressed against his midriff. A shiver ran down my spine, but right now I don't have to think about it.
He lifted me up and tried to climb down from the balcony, and I wondered whether he wanted to kill himself with me or not, but the grip of his other hand on the glass berrier was so tight that I felt like if we jumped, he would still stand like that without any problem.
He slowly placed his foot in the side pipe and, holding the barrier with his right hand and my waist with the other hand, made me stand on top of his feet.
"Wrapped your hand around my waist tightly; I need to remove my hand for a few seconds, okay?" He muttered in a low, calm voice, like there is nothing happening; we are not fighting for our lives like that. I felt scared for a moment, but then nodded. I quickly wrapped my arms around his waist so tightly that maybe he couldn't breathe properly.
He left my waist and held the barrier firmly on the balcony on the other side, and in which hand he was holding the balcony, he left it and held my waist again.
I inhaled deeply in relief, as I almost stopped breathing in this whole process. I'm not even reaching his shoulders; I am so small in front of his huge frame.
I didn't lift my head because our closeness was making me feel nervous; even our breathing sound was not clear at the moment.
Then suddenly I heard the door open with a thud sound, and it's clear as crystal.
"Who did this?" I heard a completely new voice from the room and immediately shut my eyes and tightly fisted his shirt. Maybe to feel my state, he tightened his hold around me.
"Maybe he took her with him, but why did he kill them? We need to find them." I heard the same voice. I quickly lifted my head to face him. He slowly blinked his lashes and told me to stay quiet. I nodded, but my heartbeat was beating so fast that it was ready to come out.
Then suddenly I heard their footsteps coming towards the balcony, and exactly at that time my leg slipped.
"Aaanhh,"
