PRATHAM'S POV

I assured her, she nodded, and we walked towards the main door.

I looked around and no one did bhai inform them or not, I lifted my leg to enter when a strict voice stopped me at my place.

"STOP,"

We heard Maa's strict authority voice, I immediately stopped myself from stepping inside the mansion.

I looked around and found my whole family, I took a few minutes to calculate their expression.

Maa looked disheartened, I gulped what was wrong she always told me to get married and like about my own family.

But now she is looking like this, what's wrong with Sona, she is perfect for me and for anyone.

About others, they looked tensed and specially dada ji and dadi ji, I shut my eyes I wasn't able to get this inside my brain.

I thought they would be happy, because when bhai got married to bhabhi nobody had any problem then why with me?

They thought we were different, I never had a plan to get married or have my own family because everything seems disturbing to me.

And to be honest I always knew that I can't give her the happiness she deserves but here I am standing in front of the main door with my newly wedded wife.

As my thoughts shifted to her, I slightly tilted my neck to clearly get her vision, she nervously looked at them while fighting with her dupatta like that dupatta would save her from everyone.

I mentally chuckled, she is so childish o God, I shook my head I lowered my head and waited for them to walk towards us.

When suddenly I heard the faded sound of anklets, I immediately stood straight and I never feared anything or anyone.

And if I got married to her it was my decision and no one can do anything nor are they talking bad about her.

She is my responsibility and her siblings as well.

I can't leave her to listen sometimes she gets hurt, I make eye contact with dad, he looks tensed but the confidence never leaves his face.

As they stood in front of me, I didn't blink nor I have a single doubt on my face, I'm confident as always but not more than her.

I didn't do anything wrong she is a complete goddess for me, I'm not in love with her I definitely still respect her to my core.

She deserves every single happiness in her life and I'll do my best to give her that life where she freely roams around without being afraid about men's.

My chain of thoughts broke when maa came in front of my sight directly into her eyes with confidence.

She didn't look welcoming but that's okay I can't expect her to accept us this soon.

"Maa,"

I whispered in a low voice and waited to form a few new words but sometimes my throat gave up.

"You all brothers are the same,"

She murmured slowly with a hurtful voice, her lips Shivering while saying this, I gulped.

Her eyes are filled with unshed tears directly making my heart act but what does she mean?

"Maa, what are you saying?"

Before I could ask this question, Samarth did, thankfully I couldn't have to do this.

She didn't look at him her gaze fixed upon me making my breath hitched, she looked disheartened.
