PRATHAM'S POV

I get completely numb to know about her life she faces so many things at her young age, like never getting her parents love or one of her siblings always taunting her. I mean, what she got in her life was nothing.

Maybe she thought that her life would be great when she lived with her baby brother, but no, she would face so many difficulties even after doing everything.

I know how cruel this world can be, especially for a woman, and even this young woman will manage everything.

I know I'm sounding weird, but this is the truth we can't deny the fact that this world is cruel.

My blood boiled when I learned that they were performing this disgusting thing in the name of practice. Why a woman, why not a man? Why always does a woman's dignity cross a man's ego and they can't handle it?

Everything pissed me off completely. Even her parents get ready to sell her like this they literally throw her into hell even after knowing everything they must deserve to die. I know I sound cruel, but this is for real.

The life they choose for her in the name of practice causes her to snatch her soul for the rest of her life, and she is just living in a lifeless body.

I felt rage in my eyes to burn them alive—everyone who is involved in this—Chauhan, her parents, villager, every single person.

I somehow tried to act normal in front of her and assure her that I'd make everything perfect, but what she wants is a decent job and to live with her brother.

I don't know, but I never want her to leave from here. It's better if she stays here forever. I will bring her brother and punish everyone, but she needs to stay here.

Somehow I moved my thoughts aside for now on and decided to focus on my work. After making sure that she would get inside her room, I came to mine and changed my clothes.

After I changed my clothes, I sat on the bed, picked up my phone, and typed a message to Sahil.

Sahil, we need to leave for Sonargarh village early in the morning. Be ready; we will leave by 6 a.m.

I sent the message and put the phone on the side table. Yes,  I'm leaving for her village. I can't see her in pain anymore. It'll be better if I finish everything earlier.

I tried to sleep, but her crying face came in front of me continuously. I took a deep breath. I don't think I'll sleep without pills. I opened the drawer and took out my sleeping pills. I gulped them with water.

Finally, medicine started working on my body, and after some time, I finally drifted into sleep.

Next morning I woke up as usual in my time at 5 a.m. I'm always a morning person, so it didn't affect me much even after taking pills, but today my routine will be changed as I'm not going to do jogging.

I sat on the bed and took a few deep breaths to relax my mind, and after some time I stood up and directly went towards the bathroom to take a shower.

I took a quick shower and wrapped a white towel around my waist. I came out and went towards my closet.

I chose a simple navy blue shirt and brown pants. I rolled my sleeves till my elbow and wore my limited edition watch on my left wrist.

I took my wallet and went outside of the room, when my gaze fell on my grandfather, who was going towards the backyard for his morning walk.

His gaze met mine, and I smiled and walked towards her.

"Good morning, Dadu," I wished him. He knit his eyebrows, looking at me from top to bottom, and I raised my right eyebrows.

"Good morning, but where are you going at this time, Puru? Is everything alright?" He questioned me with confusion clearly written on his face. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

I decided that I'd tell everything about her except that forcing part on her, and for that, the best person would be my brother and grandfather.

"Actually, I'm going to an important place, Dadu,"

I uttered with a slight smile on my face. He waited for my upcoming sentence, and I took a deep breath before uttering everything.

"Actually, I'm going to Swastika's village; she needs my help,"

I said, and with that, one by one, I told him everything except that part where that bastard tried to force her, his expression changing with each sentence. I can see that he is definitely angry.

"Punish them don't leave them they deserve worse,"
