14. Family's reaction~

Okay so now onwards you'll get a new chapter on Saturday as I decided because I feel relaxed on Saturday, also my health is not well that's why for paid readers I can't update after 19th chapter but today hopefully I'll update 20 and 21 chapter.

PRATHAM'S POV

After making her sleep, I walked into my study room, sat on the chair, and closed my eyes. Everything that happened to her was pathetic.
 
I saw marks on her body, like someone tried to assault her. It's torture to see everything in front of me. I need to find those people and make them regret what they did to her and other women.
 
I took out my phone and sent my PA a message. To find everything within two days, I took a deep breath.
 
My mind didn't let her thought out. I want to protect her from everyone; no one can touch her, even I don't want to, to ruin her innocence. She is just too innocent for this world.
 
I kept thinking for a while, and after some time I decided to go to sleep. I changed my clothes into my nightwear, and then I entered the bedroom.
 
I saw her sleeping figure in the bed; she is lying on the bed on her stomach, her comforter completely detached from her body. I signed and wasn't able to hold myself from going there.
 
I walked towards her and slowly covered her completely. I looked at her face, which was covered with her hair strands. I raised my hand and gently put her hair strands behind her ears.
 
My gaze fell on her innocent sleeping face. She looks so cute. I shook my head and stood properly. I went towards the couch and laid down there.
 
I closed my eyes and covered my face with my hand. I took a deep, sharp breath. She was doing something to me.
 
I don't know when I fell asleep.
 
Next morning, I woke up when I heard so many voices. I blinked my eyes rapidly and sat on the couch. I rubbed my eyes to get better vision.
 
When I opened my eyes, I immediately stood up from my place. My breath hitched, and my whole body got numb from the scene in front of me.
 
She is shivering badly while sitting on the bed, pulling her legs closer to her chest. She slowly lifted her watering eyes to look at me, and I gulped. Did they say something to her?
 
My whole family was present in my room, dangerously glaring at me, their gaze fixed upon me. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at Bhai he is calm, not like others.
 
"What did you do to her?"

Without any warning, Maa fired a burning question. I tilted my head to face her she was burning in anger.
 
"I didn't do anything, Maa,"

I immediately replied without thinking twice. She gritted her teeth. I look around, and Dadu, Dadi, and Dad are staring at me like I did something disgusting. I couldn't get the thing.
 
"Really, then why is she scared of you?"

Maa questioned. I was startled to hear her words. Why would I do something to her?, Did she say this to her?

I looked at her she was trembling so badly that a concern washed over my mind. Maybe she is scared of them.
 
I took a step forward towards her, but before I could reach her, Maa blocked my way. My eyebrows knit in confusion, and I looked at her.
 
"Maa, please, she is scared," I pleaded, trying to make my point in front of them.
 
"Did you assaul?" She whispered with so much disgust that I gritted my teeth and my jaw clenched. Did she think like this about me?
 
"Maa, first let him explain,"

Everyone's attention diverted towards the Bhai, who was completely calm and unaffected, like always.
 
"I helped her last night; she was running to save her life from a thief, and suddenly she got hit by my car, so I helped her and brought her here,"

I quickly created a fake story that sounds like a real one. I don't want anyone to see her as impure. I don't know why I know my family they never make anyone feel small, but still.
