SWASTIKA'S POV
Then suddenly I heard their footsteps coming towards the balcony, and exactly at that time my leg slipped.
"Aaanhh,"
Before I could slip, his strong arm, which is wrapped around my waist, tightened his grip around me, and a gasp escaped from my mouth.
I immediately shut my mouth as I realised what I just did that could take our lives. My breath hitched as I heard someone's footsteps towards the balcony.
I gulped nervously and lifted my head to see him. He is so calm and cold; I don't know why, but looking at him makes me feel relieved.
He is already looking into my eyes without any anger towards me. I thought he must throw me from here without thinking twice.
But he didn't. I clutched his shoulder over his shoulder, trying to prevent any sound from my mouth now.
"Did someone just scream?"" I heard someone speak from above, and I shut my eyes to pray to God to save us from them.
"Yes, I heard that too." This time the other man said, I pushed myself more into his chest; maybe we are going to die soon, and maybe I'll drag him with me as well.
"Is anybody here?" they shouted. I stopped inhaling breath also.
"Maybe in another room, a businessman is having his best time with a woman." One of them said, I felt sudden discomfort and disgust in front of me just to hear that. I don't know what will happen to me when someone else comes to this room.
"Let's go; we don't have time; we need to find her; otherwise, Boss will kill us." I heard his voice with a slight terror, and with that, I could hear their faded footsteps sound.
Finally, I took a deep breath, which I stopped due to stress, terror, and whatnot; it's torture. I never thought my life would change like this within just two days.
"I think they are gone." I heard his cold and flat tone, and I slightly nodded without thinking twice.
"We need to climb there," he said, pointing towards the left side of the balcony. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. What if someone stays there?
"There must be a person who is staying in the room; how can we just get inside the room?" I asked in a low voice while looking towards the balcony. I could feel his gaze over me.
"That is my brother's room," he uttered, making me widen my eyes with shock and surprise. Did he just want to put his brother's life in danger as well?
"We will talk, but it's better to save ourselves first, and then we'll talk." He uttered it in his deep, cold voice. A shiver ran down my spine upon hearing his voice.
"Let's try first; I'll lift you up, and you need to hold the barrier tightly so that it will not fall from here, okay?" He started giving me instructions on how to do everything. I hesitated but finally nodded, but I gulped nervously to imagine things like that.
What if I fall from here? People can't even identify me. I shook my head to remove all thoughts.
"Are you okay?" I snapped my head to face him. His concern for me right now is everything I need right now.
"Yes, I'm okay," I replied with determination. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply to get relaxed, and maybe it did work.
"Okay," he muttered calmly, and he told me that he was going to lift me. I nodded, and she slowly lifted me up without a single line on his forehead, like I were worth nothing to him.
It's surprising yet embarrassing to think like this about a man who is nothing more than a stranger and her saviour.
I diverted my focus on the barrier because right now that is the most important thing to do. I can't touch it; it's different from me because of my height.
He lifted me more, and finally I was able to touch the barrier when suddenly I heard someone's footsteps towards me. I shivered with unknown fear.
"He is coming from the balcony towards us," I murmured while terribly shuttering with words. I looked down towardss him; he was already looking at me with a flat expression. He took a deep breath, making my eyebrows knit in a line with confusion.
"Why are you afraid? He will not kill us." He said that, making me shut down my mouth. I didn't react and blankly looked at him.
"Who are you?" Suddenly I heard an unknown voice. I slowly lifted my head to see that person, who was dangerously looking at me with his dark orbs.
"He is glaring at me, Mr. Stranger," I murmured without breaking eye contact with his brother; his eyebrows furrowed, making me gulp. Did I say something stupid?
"Avi, pull her towards you."
