it's now tuesday and the projects for english are due on Friday, alex and i haven't worked on it yet so i texted him.

S: hey alex, do you wanna meet after school today and work on our english project? it's due friday
A: oh shit i forgot about it, but yes! let's do as much as we can do in her class and then we'll meet up everyday after school or before school too and work on it. what do you think?
S: sounds like a plan, think you can pick me up right now? it's 6:30, we can work on it so she doesn't yell at us in class and then we'll meet after school as well?
A: i'll be right there, just send me your address

while i was waiting for alex i got my stuff ready and wrote a letter for my brother, my mom left for work already so i don't need to tell her. "i left with alex t. cya!' i wrote and then put it on his table besides his bed. i grabbed my bag from my room and headed downstairs, once i got downstairs i got a message.

A: i'm outside
S: coming

i went outside and saw alex, i got into his car and we headed to school and went to the library where we worked for a while. it was already 7:20 so i'd assume that alex would've picked up the twins.

jaden's pov
javon and i texted alex if he could give us a ride and he agreed. javon and i waited outside for alex and scarlett, when alex arrived, javon and i got in the back seats only to see the passenger seat empty. i was dumbfounded by the fact that it was empty, "where's scarlett?" i ask and as alex began to drive off he answered, "she got a ride from alex taylor" he said. javon then asked, "since when does she get a ride from alex taylor? and besides what time did she leave?" javon asked and we both looked at alex and he shrugged. after alex shrugged javon and i looked at each other, "well what time did she leave?" javon then asked, "like around 6:40-6:50?" alex said. i was confused on why she would have alex taylor pick her up, so i decided to text her.

she didn't answer until a few minutes after,

S: yeah, i'm sorry
S: are you on your way now?
J: why would you get a ride from him? and yes we're on our way
S: well we're working on our project
J: and you couldn't have told me before you went?
S: i'm sorry, i didn't think it was a big deal
S: i'll let you know if i get a ride again though
J: why wouldn't it be a big deal scarlett?
J: who knows if your actually even working on the project

we got to school and we decided to walk around the school before going to class, we went upstairs to continue our walk and we ended up walking by the library. when we walked by the library we saw scarlett and alex taylor. they were both laughing, the soon packed their stuff up and left where we made eye contact.
