it's been a while since jaden and javon came over, i never really met their parents but alex has since he's gone over multiple times. i've noticed jaden look jealous when i'm talking to anyone that isn't him, i like him a lot but is it obvious? we've never really texted but while i was in class i got a message. from jaden. "can i go to the restroom?" i asked "yes, just take the pass" my teacher said, i stood up quickly and took my phone with me to see the message.

J:hey scarlett, can we hang after school?
S: yeah of course! let me know when
J: for sure and make sure to dress nice, i'm picking you up around 7

i'm excited to hangout with him, after i calmed myself down i went back to class. school was almost ending, just one more class. gosh can time go by any faster? seventh period ended shortly after and it was time for me to go to my last class, geometry. i had this class with javon, as i walked in javon was already in the back waving at me. i sat next to him and we talked for a while before the lesson started. "so what are you doing after school?" he asked, "i'm not sure, you?" i replied, i couldn't tell him about my dinner plan with his brother. after the lesson ended our teacher gave us time to work on homework with the person next to us, javon and i were talking about the work until he changed the subject, "i've been wanting to ask you something for a while" he said looking at me, "and what's that" i replied. it was silent for a while until he spoke up, "when i was in your room for the first time, who was that guy who you were with? like the picture on your vanity?" he asked, "oh uhm he's no one important, really" i replied, "just say it" he said and i sighed. "it was one of my closest friend but he ended up betraying my trust but that's over now. seriously, i could care less about him" i replied and then the bell rung. "let's go maybe alexander is in the car already" he said as we both walked out. we were walking towards the car until some guys stopped us, "hey scarlett, can i have you're number? you're pretty and i was wondering if i could have a chance and i-" before he was able to finish someone intervened, "back off buddy, she's not interested" said the guy, it was jaden. the kids friend came up to jaden, "and who do you think you are?" said the kid "why does that matter to you" jaden replied clearly getting angry, before i knew it alexander was also in this and javon was just standing there. "look bud, leave my sister alone. she's not interested and i know for a fact she wouldn't even want to be seen with you, so why don't you and your friends leave now?" alexander said with his fist clenched. after all that the kid finally left, "this won't be the last time you see of me scar..lett" he said smirking and while pushing his friends. why did he say my name like that? as i was looking at them walk away and alex was saying bye to the twins and next thing i knew was that alex was already pulling me towards the car, the car ride home was silent and as we pulled up our driveway alex spoke, "you aren't going to be alone during school besides with your female friends your either with me, javon or jaden. is that understood" alex said, i got out the car and went inside. until i got a message
(pretend it's like 4 almost 5 in the afternoon)

S: okay

i quickly got ready and put on a black dress, i put on light makeup and headed downstairs where i saw my brother. "where are you going" he asked "out to dinner" i said, "hmm okay, also javon will be here by the time you get back probably if not earlier so don't be shocked when you see him. oh and i invited jaden as well but he said he had plans so he won't come" he said while looking back at the TV, "okay well, my 'date' is here so i gotta leave, bye alex!" i yelled as i walked out.

once i walked out i saw jaden already outside the car with flowers, "omg jaden" i said as i walked up to him, "hey scarlett, here these are for you" he replied while handing me the flowers. i accepted the flowers, "these are so beautiful. you shouldn't have, i didn't get you anything" i said and before he spoke we heard a door shut, "i thought you weren't doing anything?" said a familiar voice catching jaden and i's attention, "javon, i- i didn't know how you'd react. besides it's just dinner, i promise" i said but i didn't know that it would be more than dinner. javon walked up to jaden and whispered something in his ear, "i won't. we're just going out to dinner" he said. javon was walking up the steps to get to my front door before turning back at us, "please bring us something and uh have fun" he said and before he opened the door he asked, "does uh alex know about you know, this" he said and i shook my head no and he just laughed. after javon went inside jaden opened the car door for me and we left to the restaurant.
