i got home soon after hanging out with zach, i got inside only to see jaden. he turned back at me, "where's everyone at" i asked, "the store, scarlett come please" he says patting the sofa seat signaling me to sit. i walked over at sat next to him, "we need to talk" i say looking down, he looked at me. "what's wrong? talk to me" he says, "i'm sorry, i know you asked me to understand but i don't know what to understand. i don't want to hurt you but i can't keep doing this jaden" i say while my eyes begin to tear up. he gets a bit closer and begins to speak, "what are you trying to say scar" he said, "i can't keep being your secret jaden, you only want to be all lovely when no one's around" i say as a tear came out. "scarlett, i- i don't know how to" he said, he never continued. "help me understand what you're trying to make me understand" i say allowing more tears to come out. we were silent for a while before he spoke, "i didn't know you felt like this, i just wanted to see if we're working even without anyone knowing" he said, "what are you saying, i hate this. i can't keep doing this, and i don't want to hurt you but i'm done" i say wiping my tears. i don't know whether he was shocked or something, "you're the greatest i've met, but i'm sorry. i'm no longer doing this jaden" i say before leaving. i got to my room and began to sob uncontrollably. i didn't know if i just made a mistake, i wanted to talk to someone but i couldn't. i got into bed and continued to cry, i saw our picture of us on my vanity mirror, we were in a Photo Booth. we were all lovely but it seemed as if we friends, i grabbed the photo and looked at it. my tears began to fall onto the photo. i couldn't do it, i didn't know what to do.

i ended up falling asleep while crying. i woke up and dressed lazily. the twins came over again but i didn't leave my room all day. it was already 2.

Javon's pov | downstairs

jaden and i got to alexander's house at 12, we hadn't seen scarlett since we've been here. "where's your sister?" i ask alexander, he shrugs before speaking. "don't know, maybe she's still asleep" he says, i then look at my watch. i look back at him confused, "still asleep at 1 in the afternoon?" i say, "you can check if you want, i knocked earlier but she was asleep" alexander says. i then stand up and head upstairs, i knocked on scarlett's door. no answer. i then proceeded to open the door slightly and poking my head in, "scar?" i say and again, no answer. i then open the door and find scarlett on her bed with her headphones on, i go inside and close her door on my way in. i sit on the edge of her bed, once i sat down she looked up at me, and sat up. she took out her headphones, "hey javon" she says smiling, "hey, why haven't you come out of your room?" i ask. she stays silent, i noticed that her eyes were red. "were you crying?" i say, she laughs, "no i was just rubbing my eyes" she replys. i let out a nervous chuckle, "come downstairs, jaden and i brought food but you weren't downstairs" i say, she gives a light smile and then nods.

Scarlett's pov

javon left my room and i got up and went into the bathroom to brush my teeth. i headed downstairs and met everyone, i then gave javon and jaden a hug. "since i didn't greet you correctly" i say whilst hugging javon, he hugs back. "don't worry" he says, i then let go and hug jaden, "good afternoon jaden" i say hugging him. he hugged back tightly, "it's good to see you" he says. we let go and all sit on the sofa, i was on my phone and got a notification from jaden,

Jaden
J: hey, you okay?
S: hey, yeah i'll be good
S: you okay?
J: i was thinking about our conversation last night
S: oh
J: i wanted to talk about it with you
S: what's there to talk about
J: everything
S: everything? what do you mean?
J: you told me to help you understand what i want you to understand
S: oh yeah
J: i want to tell you, why
S: then tell me, please
J: but in person
S: oh ok
J: your room?
S: yeah sure

we both excuse ourselves and head upstairs to talk. it was silent at first, "firstly, i didn't want to hurt your feelings. i didn't want you to feel like a secret or anything, i truly like you and want to be with you but i didn't know how everyone react. i wanted to enjoy our relationship alone, like just between us. i didn't want anyone to interfere, no friend's interfering, no one. just the two of us" jaden says, i was listening carefully. "why would you care about what others think? what matters is what you think, what you feel. not what anyone else does" i say, "i don't know, maybe cause of what happened before and i know, the past is the past, but it's hard to let those stuff go" he says. i was still listening to what he was saying, i'm sorry for what has happened before, but that is not me. you can't see me as the person who hurt you, but why would you want to meet alone" i ask, "i didn't want our friends or anyone to see these special moments of us" he replies. i look away before speaking once again, "not even in front of our friends?" i ask.
