you're new to a school and you end up being in a relationship with jaden walton, you've been together for three months but no one knows about the relationship. why would your boyfriend not want anyone to know?
we arrived home soon, it was still pouring so jaden and i decided to stay in the car for a while. it was silent, we were both on our phones, i hadn't realized him looking at me. he then tapped me, "are you alright?" he asks. i look up and nod, "yeah, sorry" i reply, we both end up going back on our phones. i was texting daphne,
Daphne S: do you know if madeline has a new number? D: i'm not sure S: okay thanks anyways
i then switch over to madeline's contact.
Madeline S: madeline ?: who's this? S: madeline what do you mean?? it's scarlett ?: i'm sorry but i believe you have the wrong number S: madeline this isn't very funny ?: i'm sorry but i'm not this madeline? i'm jacob S: oh my, i'm so so sorry! i thought it was my friend who was messing with me J: oh okay, sorry though. hope you find this madeline S: sorry for bothering you and thank you. have a good day
i felt a wave of sadness, madeline didn't say goodbye. or maybe she didn't even know that she will be moving, i then sighed before turning my car and phone off. we all entered my house soon after, "bro is it every going to stop raining" my brother asked as he was taking his shoes off. we all sat on the couch and watched a movie, i ended up falling asleep. i woke up and everyone was now asleep, i looked over at the clock and it was 2 in the morning. i tried going back to sleep but i wasn't able too, i decided to go for a walk. i put a hoodie on and walked out only to find it still raining, i was walking before i got stopped by a familiar person. it was jack, the boy who came up to me one time. "scarlett, can we talk" he said, "about what" i reply, it was silent for a while but he then spoke, "about that day, i just want to tell you my side" he said. i nodded and we both went to sit on a bench, i wasn't aware that someone had been watching us. "i know this might seem creepy, you know coming up to you in the middle of the night. but that day, i swear i meant no harm. my friends made a stupid bet which was if i could get you to be my girl but i didn't really mean it" he said, "but you just gotta know, michael, he's crazy about you. he said he'll do anything just to be with you, just you know stay safe? i don't know if he's actually capable of doing anything" he then said. "well, i have a boyfriend. i don't want nor do i like michael in anyway, i love my boyfriend" i reply, "i know, you and jaden look good and seem happy. but it's michael, he hates jaden. just stay safe scarlett, and i was also hoping if we could be friends" he said, i stared at him for a while before speaking, "why would michael hate jaden? and i guess we can be friends, besides when you're alone you seem alright" i say. he lets out a small chuckle before going serious again, "michael is jealous, cause you know, you and jaden? but i'll make sure he stays away. i promise, i wouldn't want anything to happen to you or jaden" he said, we both stood up and said our goodbyes before leaving. as i was walking home the rain began to pour down harder, i was quickly rushing home until a car stopped. "hey baby, i told you i'd be back" said the person, i looked over and saw michael. i tried running but he just chased me with his car, he then quickly ran towards me. he was sniffing me and grabbing me, "i'm going to need you to break up with jaden" he said. at this point i didn't know what to do, i just wanted my brother by my side. "what do you want from me" i say struggling to leave his grip, "i want you" he said, at this point i felt hopeless until i heard someone yell, "hey! leave her alone" said a unfamiliar voice. it was a neighbor from my neighborhood, "you got about 5 seconds to let her go and you and your buddies to get in your goddam car and drive away" he said. michael then let me go and left, the neighbor came down to me, "are you okay sweetie" he said. his wife was also besides him, "honey, why don't we take her home" she said to him, they gave me a ride and i thanked them before they drove away. i got inside and still found everyone asleep, i took my hoodie off before laying next to jaden once again and falling asleep. around 6 i woke up to my mom getting ready to leave for work, "oh good morning scarlett, i gotta go honey. i woke up late and now i'm going to be late" she said quickly before leaving, after she left i tried going back to sleep but made no progress. i went on my phone and posted a picture to instagram,

as i got off my phone i saw javon wake up, "you're up early" he said as he rubbed his eyes. he then got his phone out and saw the time, he then woke the other two up. "bro wake up" he said as he began to get up. i went up to my room and got ready and after i was done i took another picture and posted it to my instagram, (i know it's not the same person but ignore it)
