Delilah was crying as Jeremiah was holding her, the two sat on her bathroom floor as he was rocking the two a little
"She didn't mean it, Lilah" Jeremiah said as Delilah scoffed
"Everything you say while drink you mean, i mean she blurted that Steven and Taylor kissed in front of Shayla, Nicole and I, i didnt even know they kissed!" Delilah hiccuped
"If it makes you feel any better Belly completely busted her ass, and my mom's which im upset about that. But the cake fell, and our grandmother's cake stand broke" Jeremiah said as Delilah laughed a little
"I feel a little better"
"Look, Lilah, you know Belly didnt mean that, she said it in the spur of the moment. She's drunk out of her mind, and im pretty sure this is the first time she's been drunk"
"I know" Delilah sighed, "It still make's me feel like absolute shit when she says that. I mean, my parents didnt want me, and then Belly said she didnt want me so, i dont know"
"I love you" Jeremiah blurthed, "I love you, too" Delilah laughed a little
"No, Lilah, like i love, love you. Like not as my best friend, as my girlfriend" Jeremiah said turning her to face him
"I love you, too, Miah. Like as my boyfriend" Delilah smiled kissing him
"How about you change and we can go do fireworks with Steve?" Jeremiah offered as she nodded
"Only cause im wet, cold and dont have a bra on and this is white" she said standing up as he kissed her
"Ill wait for you outside your door" he said standing as she nodded
Delilah changed into some shorts and the Princeton hoodie Steven got her, her and Jeremiah made their way over to Steven who was setting up the fireworks
The first one went off as Jeremiah cheered, "Whoo! Yeah! That was awesome!"
Jeremiah scoffed, "Come on. That was your best one yet?" he said looking at Steven, who had a straight face
"What's wrong?"
"Shayla know's about Taylor"
"Oh, shit"
"That's the thing, man. Like, Shayla didnt even seem mad. I dont... I dont know, she didnt even seem to care. She said we werent anything serious anyways"
Delilah scoffed, "And you bought that?"
"Dude, she was wanting you to say you wanted to be exclusive" Jeremiah added

"Yes, dumbass"

"Yes"
"Oh, fuck" Steven groaned, "Dude i dont know, man. Im just... I am just crazy about her. I swear, i've just never felt this way about anyone else"
"Well, quit fucking moping you're making me more depressed and go tell her" Delilah smiled at her bother, the two did their handshake
"Why are you depressed, Delly?" Steven asked looking at his sister

"Belly said she doesnt know why they adopted her" Jeremiah said knowing Delilah wasnt gonna say anything

"Nope. And then she pushed me in the pool, on accident, i hope" Delilah added looking at him
"Fuck, Del, you know we want you" Steven sighed leaning over and hugging her, how did he miss the mascara smudged under her eyes, along with them being red and puffy
"Im ok now, i know. She's drunk, she wont even remember and we can forget about it, hopefully" Delilah sighed breaking the hug
"I know you wanna forget about it, Del, but that's not something you can just forget about" Jeremiah sighed putting his arm around her waist
"Ok, true, but i think it'll be better to act like it didnt happen cause she's not gonna remember and i dont wanna bring it up and start something" she said leaning into Jeremiah
"I only need you dummys and my ConCon" Delilah added laughing
"We love you, Delilah" the boys said at the same time
"Don't do that, that was too creepy" she laughed, the three cheering as another firework went off
Jeremiah leaned over and kissed Delilah's head as she fell asleep, "I love Delilah, forever and always" he smiled before laying down next to her and falling asleep himself
It was around 5am when Delilah woke up, she finally remembered Conrad had gotten her a gift
She rushed to her room and grabbed the box, she opened it to reveal a silver bracelet, she laughed a little as she noticed the charms
One was "concon" the other was "deldel, along with a lighter, the number 17, a flower and a heart
"Lils, you ok?" Susannah asked looking at the girl sitting on her floor
"Im good, i randomly remembered i never opened the gift Conrad got me, and opened it" she smiled holding up the bracelet
"Here, let me put it on" Susannah smiled walking over, she sat next to her and clipped the bracelet
"Jeremiah get you that?" she asked pointing to the "J&D" necklace
"Yeah, uh, he gave it to me when he asked to me to be his girlfriend" Delilah smiled
"Dont tell anymore, but i've always been rooting for you to end up with one of my boys, more so Jeremiah" Susannah admitted laughing a little
"I think i see Conrad too much as a brother to even consider dating him, but it's different with Jeremiah, i just feel like i can be myself around him, and he makes me feel safe whenever im around him, we communicate really well, and so far it's been absolutely amazing. Like the other day he took my on our first date, since my first real date was bad, but he made it really special. And i know what you're thinking, "You only see each other during the summer" but we've already made plans to see each other durning the school year. I think, no i know i really love him, Susannah. No boy has ever made me feel this way, even after years of knowing him i still get butterflies around him" Delilah explained smiling
Susannah listened to her with a smile on her face, she knew the second Jeremiah and Delilah met they were meant to be soulmates, even if they were only babies
She was just more then glad she was gonna be able to see Delilah in a white dress and Jeremiah in a tux together, even if they're not getting married, she could still picture it incase she's not here anymore when they do get married
