Delilah was sitting between Steven and Belly across from Laurel and John, she was drinking on her water as Steven began to talk
"Yo, this is dope. Im going viral on TikTok" he smiled
"Is that a good thing?" John asked confused, looking at him
"What, millions of people around the world watching my speech on a loop? Yes, dad, that is a very good thing. I gotta forward this to Con and Jere, man" he added, the waiter came over placing the check on the table
"Thank you so much" he smiled
"Thank you"
"Oh, uh, im sorry, can we get a box for this?" Steven questioned motioning to his and Delilah's food
They each grabbed a fortune cookie from the waiter as he passed them out
"Happiness is an activity" Belly read hers, "Um, ok"
"Ok, well, "everyone agrees you are the best" Steven read
"It doestn say that" Delilah snorted
"It's so random"
"Let me see"
"It literally says it right here"
"Where?"
"Right there. See?" he asked moving it away from her
"Look, i dont know what you want from me. It says it right there. Read your's, Del"
"K, uh, "see the light at the end of the tunnel" she read, "The fuck does that mean?"
"I know we keep telling you. We're so proud of you. You're gonna have the time of your life at Princeton. Right, Laur?"
"Yeah, i loved college. That's where i met Susannah" Laur smiled, it slowly fell, she looked at Delilah to see her playing with the ring Jeremiah got her
"So, how are things going with your book?" John questioned looking at Laurel
"My publisher is hounding me to do this meet and greet event with booksellers. I said no"
"Why?"
"Because it's not necessary"
"Ok, uh, well, it's time for me to get ready for the party. Mom, mwah. Dad, mwah. Thank you for lunch"
"We're going with him. Uh, it was delicious. Thank you" Belly smiled as the three of them stod up
