Without thinking, Harry reached for the teacup that Dumbledore had poured for him earlier and took a sip. The headmaster's smile grew a fraction wider as Harry obediently drank the tea, just to be sure.

After the meeting, Harry returned to his classes as commanded by Dumbledore. He avoided Draco and Hermione for the rest of the day, not even looking their way. That is what the voice told him to do. Draco and Hermione exchanged worried glances, both sensing that something was off but deciding to wait until after classes to talk to Harry about it.

As soon as their final class ended, Hermione and Draco cornered Harry in a secluded part of the castle. "Hades, what's going on?" Hermione asked, her voice filled with concern. "You've been avoiding us all day."

Harry's expression darkened, a coldness in his eyes that hadn't been there before. "Maybe I just don't want to be around you two," he snapped, his words laced with uncharacteristic venom.

Draco flinched, his eyes widening in hurt and confusion. "Why? Did we say something wrong? You were fine last night" he asked, his voice trembling.

"Maybe I just need a break. Can't I have some alone time without both of you breathing down my neck? Is it so hard to digest that I might not always want to be around you? You're pathetic, Draco," Harry spat, his tone harsh and degrading. "Always so needy and clingy. Maybe if you weren't such a weak, snivelling omega, people wouldn't look down on you."

Hermione was appalled, her face pale with shock. "Harry, stop it! How can you say such things? You need to apologize to Draco right now!"

"I don't owe him anything," Harry retorted, his anger growing. "He needs to toughen up and stop being such a burden."

"He is not a burden! Hadrian Marvolo Gaunt! How dare you say that? Do you even hear yourself? Draco is our best friend!" said Hermione.

The argument escalated, voices rising and emotions flaring. Hermione pleaded with Harry to see reason, but he remained stubbornly cruel. Draco stood there, his heart breaking with every word, blaming himself for Harry's sudden change in behaviour.

"Stop! Both of you! Stop! Maybe it's my fault," Draco whispered, tears streaming down his face. "I'm the problem."

Hermione hugged Draco tightly, trying to comfort him. "No, Draco, it's not your fault."

Harry sneered at them, his face twisted in anger. "Believe what you want, but I'm done with this."

With that, Harry stormed off, leaving Draco and Hermione behind. Draco's sobs echoed through the empty hallway as Hermione held him, her mind racing to figure out what had happened to their friend and how they could fix it.
