Maybe it is real, maybe Azzi doesn't realize it until she met Paige. She was her best friend for over seven years now and for the first time that they've been together she realized she was actually in love with her.

Her brown eyes met the blue ones staring back at her. She can't help but feel her heart skip a beat. "Huh?" As a matter of fact she wasn't listening to what Paige was saying at all. Her sudden realization a few minutes ago was enough to silence the noise around her.
Paige gave her a small smile before shaking her head. "I said do you want to hang out later? Kk and Ice want to play Fortnite. They said last night was not a fair game so they want a rematch tonight."
Looking away, she focused on the tree right behind Paige and tried to keep herself composed and to not show any signs that she's actually panicking while also trying to think of an excuse so that she can refuse her offer.
"I can't. I have a paper due tomorrow and I have to take my exam later at 8." She offered her a forced smile which to her dismay Paige saw right through her.
"Are you okay? You look pale."
If it wasn't for the fact that she's having a crisis she would've laughed at her statement. Sitting up a little straighter she nodded her head. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired."
Waiting to see if she will let it go, Azzi looked behind her head and saw two familiar figures walking up to their table. She sighed in relief when Kk and Ice finally reached them. Without looking back at Paige, she can still feel her eyes watching her the entire time.
"Hey girly pops." Kk excitedly sat down beside Paige and they both shared a handshake. Ice sat beside Azzi bumping her shoulder before giving her a smile. Happy with the distraction she returned her gaze back at Paige who she guess was still watching her. And she was right.
"Sorry guys I can't hang out tonight. I have homework to do and I'll be taking an exam."
Kk pouted her lips making sure Azzi can see her disappointment. "Oh girl boo, P said you only have classes today?" On her side Paige watch her closely.
'Oh shit.' She forgot Paige knows her class schedules. 'C'mon lie better!' "Yeah, I don't have classes tomorrow but the paper is due until 12 pm and I still have to take my exam at 8 pm later so." It sounds reasonable enough but she could still feel a pair of blue eyes boring holes on her face. Usually this happens every time and it doesn't bother her before but now that she found out her growing feelings for Paige she started to notice everything that she was doing and the effects it has on her. Trying not to blush she look away and focus on Ice instead.
