Some may say that some people are just born with the talent and destined to be great. At a young age, Paige knew that she was born to be on the court, she grew up in a small town, her family doesn't have any history with basketball, her father, being a coach at her elementary school was the closest thing she had as a connection to why she was introduced to the sport. As the years passed by, people started to recognize her talent and they knew that she was destined to become one of the greatest basketball player in her generation. Although it was no surprise, that after they learned how amazing she was on the court, they eventually fell in love with her personality more. She was humble, downright kind but she is also confident at the same time and even though she received a lot of praise and recognition on how great of a player she was, she never act like she's better than everyone. She was lucky enough to have people around her that supports her and keeps her grounded. She knew that her popularity comes with the positive and negative sides. There was no doubt in her heart how grateful she was with all the opportunities that came with it. She was slowly becoming a celebrity among her peers and even though she doesn't consider herself as one, the effect of it was unavoidable. Social media has a huge influence over her growing popularity and as the days go by, the number of her fans are getting more and more bigger every day which means thousands of people are now watching her every move.
Being on the spotlight was something she was used to considering she had been going through it since her early stage of stardom in her high school years. She is also well aware of her haters but she doesn't give them any attention. She was naturally good at it, which Azzi always admired her for. She didn't know how Paige can handle all the pressure and attention that comes with her being a celebrity to the basketball world. And just like Paige, Azzi had the same experience growing up. She became quite popular when she was younger when people started talking about how good she was on her games. Even though Azzi doesn't have the same passion as Paige when she was young, she developed her skills as she grew up, having her parents as her coach, who are basketball players themselves when they were younger that contributed to her eventually falling in love with the sport, and she realized she was born with the talent. As the years go by, she realized that she was destined to be on the court and as faith brought her the love of the game, it also brought her the only person she didn't know she needed. Azzi stepped out of the meal line in the mess hall that night and glanced around the mainly empty room for her friends. Meeting Paige's eyes, the blonde raised her hand and waved from a table near the window. Making her way over, Azzi set her tray down and slid into the seat beside her. Looking at their table, she turned to her girlfriend.
"Uhm, what are you guys doing?" She noticed the boxes scattered around them and on the table. The huge bouquet of roses in front of the blonde caught her attention. "Aw babe, who got you flowers?"
