"Delia?" I stood still in front of Elladan, watching as he scanned me. His eyes were red, puffy like he had been crying. "Is everything alright? What happened?" I sat beside Elladan, bringing my legs to my chest. Elladan's breathing increased significantly. "Do you...do you hate...me?" I placed my head against his shoulder, my heart pounding quickly.

"I don't hate you. This...this is all just a lot. The memory I have before making my choice is us...us well...eh...um..." Elladan coughed softly.

"I apologize. I should not have kissed you in that state." I giggled, placing my hand on his shoulder.

"I spoke with Legolas. He said that you really do love me. I..." Elladan seemed to go cold under my fingers. "I think I love you too." Elladan's head turned and I stared at those grey eyes. He brought his hand to my cheek, gently pulling my face closer. Our lips connected as his hand wound its way through my hair. His other hand gently held my waist as me moved against each other. The kiss felt so good, so right. We pulled apart when neither of us had any air left in our lungs. Elladan's lips were swollen and red. He kissed my forehead, running his fingers along the tips of my ears. I shuddered, the rush of joy flooding me. I kissed his lips again, only to be interrupted by a chuckle.

"Elladan. Deliadis." I quickly moved away, as did Elladan. I looked up and immediately became filled with mortification. It was Lady Galadriel. Elladan and I were the exact same shade of red. "How are you both this evening?" We both mumbled something, I wasn't even sure what I said. Lady Galadriel chuckled again. "I will leave you both, though do not marry in times of war." My face felt engulfed in flames. I was absolutely embarrassed. "It will bring misfortune." Lady Galadriel walked away, and I stared at Elladan, whose face was a shade of red I never knew existed. I giggled at his expression, and he hid his face in his hands. I shifted close again and kissed his cheek gently. He mumbled into his hands, his body shaking from laughter.

"That was the most humiliating thing to ever happen in my very existence." I laughed again, kissing his cheek. "Of all people it had to be her. She is absolutely going to tell my father." Lifting Elladan's head up, I kissed his lips gently.

"Let her." I had some new found confidence. Just for this moment, I had some confidence. Aragorn's reaction to my being an elf wasn't on my mind. Just the elf in front of me. I cupped his face, kissing his lips. Elladan held me in his arms, our breaths mingling. His was hot, and sent shivers down my spine. He dragged me closer, to where we were a tangle of limbs hidden in the forest. As minutes ticked by, joy rushed through me. Elladan's fingers traced along my ears, and I giggled at the feeling. I was getting used to it. He stopped kissing me, and simply gazed at me, his fingers twisted in my hair.

"You are like the sun...you light up my entire life." I blushed and gazed at his grey eyes. "Glaw nín..." I remembered those words. They were from my vision a few months back. The vision where I had been lying in bed beside another elf. That elf had called me his sunshine, just like Elladan did now. "I love you Deliadis." I could feel tears running down my face. "Why are you crying?"

"I'm just really happy. So incredibly happy." Elladan wiped the tears from my face, peppering my face with kisses.

"I love you. I really do. You are the best possible thing that could have ever happened to me Delia." A dark thought formed in my mind. I kissed Elladan's cheek before asking him my question.

"What if I had chosen death?" His smile dropped into a different kind. Something more pitiful.

"I would have loved you till my last breath. I cannot bear the idea of you leaving, but I would still love with with all my heart, even if it destroyed me." I started crying again. Elladan kissed my forehead. "My apologies. I did not intend for you to weep." I laughed, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"It's not your fault. I'm just very sensitive right now I guess." Elladan lifted me up, holding me close to his chest. I closed my eyes, letting sleep take me.
