(Sauron POV)

I was getting nowhere. The spawn of Elrond was too stubborn. He kept on insisting that he would not tell me anything, and he was doing a very good job. I stalked down the hall to my potions storeroom, grabbing the smallest phial. I never wanted to use it for something as trivial as this, but I needed answers. I stormed to the spawn of Elrond's cell, staring at him as he shivered on the floor, absolutely covered in dry blood. It was a miracle he was still alive, and I had to lighten up on the beatings already. It was quite a nuisance really. Minutes ticked by till he finally looked at me. For being a spawn of Elrond he did look rather handsome. Then again, his mother had been absolutely beautiful, so it was to be expected. Those grey eyes held so many secrets, and what I carried in my hand would unlock them all. I pushed open the cell door, throwing the keys on the ground and stepping inside while lining my face with a smirk. I pulled out the phial, watching as the stubbornness in his eyes turned to a fear. I smiled, gripping his chin. The spawn of Elrond curled his lips into his mouth, trying to prevent me from pouring the contents of the phial down his throats. I chuckled, deciding to taunt him first.

"Well hello there, son of Elrond. I have missed you." He snarled. I laughed again, clutching his throat. "Now now, I may not like your father, but we both know he taught you to behave better than a wild animal." I uncorked the phial, grabbing the elf's mouth and forcing him to open it. I poured the liquid down his throat, making sure he swallowed. The elf's eyes turned an unsettling blue as he coughed. I began to hope I had not poisoned him. He finally stopped coughing, looking at me with a mix of fear and anger. He started to shout at me, that eerie blue settling in his eyes.

"What did you do! What did you do you vile creature! You cannot get away with this!" As he shouted, he stood, the chains preventing him from stepping towards me. He counted to scream at me, and once it was all out of him, his legs shook and he dropped down to the ground, crying. I knelt down, holding his throat.

"Now, tell me what it is you see." I could see the fear in his eyes as his lips betrayed him.

"Nothing. I see nothing." I flung the elf's head into the wall, anger boiling inside me like the flames of Orodruin.

"You, what!" The elf trembled, his head bleeding.

"I cannot see the future." I let out a scream of frustration, grabbing his face again.

"Then who can! I know it is an elf, so who is it!" I was going to make Saruman pay. He had sent me a useless elf, thinking it was the one who could see the future. The elf's eyes grew wide in fear as he tried to hold the words in. "Tell, me. Now!"

"Deliadis!" I stood there, staring at the elf as he weeped at the name. It held no significance to me. The longer I stared at the elf, I realized he could be a bargaining tool. Something I could use to gain the upper hand in this war. My thoughts were interrupted by someone punching me in the face. I stumbled backwards, hitting my head against the wall. The elf had gotten the keys when I was not looking. He chained me to the wall, sprinting off down the hall. I screamed in frustration for some guards, but the idiots could not catch him before he got a horse and weapon. I looked through my eye, watching as the spawn of Elrond rode through my lands, and climbed over the Morannon, escaping. I melted the chains, letting the molten metal slip off my hands and onto the floor. I was enraged at the fact the elf had escaped, but now I had something better. I had the name of the one who could see the future. Deliadis. Whoever this elf was, would most certainly be mine before summer's end. I just had to bide my time and wait for this elf to walk into the palm of my hand.
