The double-decker bus rolled the wheels on the busiest street in the city, where there were tall buildings, large shopping malls, restaurants of different regions, and specious parks. The inside was filled with people; the old-aged, middle-aged and children were conversing with each other.

Further to the back seat, Mingyu sat beside Wonwoo near the window with his head on the older's broad shoulder, watching the boulevard scenery with his contented smile. Some of the nearby passengers looked at them weirdly, but they paid no mind. What is important is that they are happy with the relationship they had.

A warning that they were approaching a bus stop was given by the four-wheeler with a blast of sound. Wonwoo gave their connected hand a light squeeze, telling Mingyu that they needed to get off at this stop. The duo excused themselves from the back seat to the exit door.

Stepping on the sidewalk, they had come in front of a huge indoor plaza.

"Your favorite place is here?" Mingyu asked a bit unenthusiastic, it's a very simple place to be counted as favorite.

"Not the whole plaza," Wonwoo rolled his eyes, "A place in there. Come, I'll show you."

Mingyu wondered what kind of special place in the plaza that had captured his hyung's heart. Weren't there supposed to be only shopping retailers, restaurants and arcade games?

Nonetheless, Mingyu tagged behind the older man wherever he took him as Wonwoo reached his hand out for him to grab. The glasses man led them to the second floor of the plaza which was dedicated for accessories retailing. After a leisurely hand in hand walk, they had come to face a closed unit. The taller man was perplexed but chose not to say anything.

Wonwoo pulled out a chain of keys that he had picked up from his apartment before coming to the center. Mingyu had followed the older to his house, but he didn't know what Wonwoo had done in his room, as the older shut the door after entering.

No way, Wonwoo hyung owned this? Mingyu enlarged his pupil when he saw that the older man bends down to unlock the unit and rolled up the steel roller shutter door.

"Ta-da," Wonwoo unlocked the door, opening it wide for both of them to step in, "This is it. My favorite place."

The scent of trees entered both men's nostrils as soon as they got inside giving the feeling that they had entered dense woodlands. Behind the glass double door, revealed rows of tall shelves. Each shelf was filled with books of different genres. There was a built-in mini cafe counter next to the entrance with comfort drinks for the bookworms to ravish. Further into the unit, there were multiple beanbags laying around for people to enjoy their reading time.

"What do you think?"

"This is amazing, hyung." Mingyu breathed out, in awe of the theme of his hyung place. "How did you come up with this?"

"I prepared this little bookstore x cafe three months ago." Wonwoo began, "Books are my safe place. I always dreamed of opening a space where people could feel safe to come and read their favorite books." He looked around the cushy space that he had placed his heart into creating, "What more than to get a complimentary drink to fit with the aesthetic? So a cafe inside it is."

"You're so thoughtful, hyung." Mingyu reached to one of many shelves, "When are you going to officially open it? I would like to study here on the weekend. It's cozy."

"When my resignation got approved." Wonwoo replied nonchalantly as if the news wasn't some kind of big deal to him.

"You'll stop working at Pledis?" Mingyu raised his voice an octave higher.

"Of course," Wonwoo nodded, "I have been working at that company for 7 years. It was about time that I fulfilled my long term dream, plus I have gathered enough savings from the bonus for this space."
