🔴 A little bit warning for near end 🔴
"Gyu baby? You're done? The wedding is about to start." Mama Kim softly knocked on the groom room's door.
"Mom, can you come in for a minute?" Mingyu pleaded with shaky voice
"Sure baby."
Mingyu was very messed up in his mind about this whole wedding. Upon hearing the sound of the opened door, he looked up from his hand.
"M-Mom," he suddenly started crying, making his mom rush to cradle her son into her arms.
"What's wrong, sweetheart? Why are you crying, hmm? You don't want to get married anymore?" Mama Kim asked Mingyu who looked at her with sad eyes.
"I-I don't want to l-leave you alone, m-mom. I'm g-going to miss you." hiccups in almost every word he said.
"Oh, my sweet baby, it was not a big problem at all. You can still visit me from time to time, yeah? By then, you can also bring your lovely husband with you. I'm going to be alright, okay? Also, Channie is right beside me all the time. Stop crying now, you ruin your makeup." She lightly chuckled and looked up to find any tissue nearby to wipe her child's tears.
Mingyu still kept on his pouty face as his mother wiped his tearstained face. As soon as she finished touching up some powder onto her son's face, she stood up and motioned for Mingyu to stand up as well and hugged him again. Taking a big, shaky breath, Mama Kim murmured beside her son's ear.
"You can always come back to Mama. The door to our house is always opened for you."
Due to her hanbok she was wearing, it was pretty hard for Mingyu to hug her back but he insisted on getting warm feelings from the woman who raised him by herself for almost all his life.
This time, she was about to give her golden child to another man who claimed to take good care of him.
"Come on baby, the wedding is going to start soon. Mama will walk you down the aisle, okay?"
"Yes, mom," Mingyu smiled and linked his arm to his mother's.
The wedding was held in the local venue of the town Mingyu lived in, not too big, not too small, enough to fit all of their close friends and relatives. Mingyu's mom didn't have many guests to begin with, so did Wonwoo's. The grooms literally shared the same circle of friends.
Upon opening the front door to the inside of the wedding hall, Mingyu heard his dorky best friend, Seokmin and Soonyoung, loudly clapping their hands, whistling and dramatically wiping out their nonexistent tears.
Seungcheol and Jeonghan with their cute little daughter that they had adopted on their first wedding anniversary. The 4-year-old girl sat quietly on Jeonghan's lap, observing the sleeping 6-month-old boy in Jisoo's arms, totally turning deaf ear to the chaos his father and his uncle had caused in the hall.
Jihoon tried to shut up his boyfriend multiple times, yet failed miserably. He just accepted his fate with a loud lover, giving in to whatever he wanted to do and bowed his head down in embarrassment.
Mingyu struggled to keep his laugh inside his tummy. The younger groom then stared up ahead and saw the all too familiar face standing on the other side of the aisle, looking as fine as he always does.
Wonwoo looked glamorous, wearing white button-up shirt underneath his black suit and black trousers, a black tie decorated his collar and his usual round glasses. His hair style showing his shining forehead, this gorgeous man would be his husband in the next hour. His smile never left his face from when they walked into the venue.
