Chapter 38

It has been 3 years since Wonwoo had surprised Mingyu with promise rings on his birthday. A lot of things happened during those times, Mingyu had graduated from his university, and still worked for Pledis; currently he had managed to become Senior Accountant, left-hand of Hongjoong in operating the finance expenses of the company.

Seungcheol had officially left his position as the assistant of Finance Manager and had Seonghwa in that position instead, specifically recommended by the manager himself.

The older man had become full-time Jeonghan's husband for 6 months now, after the pretty man popped the question in one of their intercourses. Seungcheol was cleaning both of them when Jeonghan asked him out of nowhere without any preparation, not even a ring to accommodate it. He was stunned for a second before fully grasping what the other man had proposed.

With a loving gaze in his eyes, Seungcheol agreed to the proposal, dived in for an affectionate kiss and eventually went for another round. They woke up extra early the next day to buy their engagement rings, even the workers at the jewelry store were surprised to see customers walking in as soon as they opened their business. The duo settled with a simple one in little to no design at all, since they wanted their wedding rings to be more special.

When the coworker asked about his new silver object, Jeonghan proudly showed it off; his shoulders grew extra inches higher from how much he raised that day. Mingyu stared concentratedly at the small shining diamond and looked at his hyung in awe with Wonwoo behind him.

They watched the elder couple building their own happiness, from Seungcheol drunk of jealousy to them open their relationship to other people, now they were planning their future together. Both couples were not afraid to share their general and relationship problems, seeking for advice from each other. Even asking Mingyu and Wonwoo to be there when they went to try out their wedding suits.

Seungcheol did ask Wonwoo to be his best man, while Jeonghan asked Jisoo, his superior and his best friend, with some protest from Seungcheol. It seems that the man harbored bitterness even after learning that the other man has a fiancé.

Merely their immediate families and a small circle of close colleagues attended their privately held wedding. Mingyu was dumbfounded when he saw his friends waving at his way inside the hall. Seokmin and Soonyoung were also invited as special guests directly by the couple, despite meeting once at the bumper car.

Soonyoung was happily jumping from his professional dancer career to seeing his Jihoonie at his studio. His business degree was thrown out of the window when Soonyoung found his passion to choreograph dance moves for the song that Jihoon produced. They even opened their own Youtube channel to post those.

Jihoon would sometimes join his boyfriend for the dance cover and Soonyoung would delightedly teach those intense moves from step to step while admiring the sweaty man through the mirror in their practice room. After they finished recording them, the couple would drop down breathlessly to the floor beside each other with Soonyoung throwing his glance, checking on his lover. They would end up in a street food vendor afterward, enjoying the hot soup and frying foods.

Seokmin and Joshua, who Mingyu had come to realize that he was the same man as the audit manager in his company, Jisoo, got married to each other last year. Seokmin tried to arrange a suitable time when his best friends would be able to meet the love of his life, but Jisoo was so crazily busy that they had to cancel or delay those meetings. Jisoo felt bad for his fiance, promising to clear up his schedule so that they could get together.

When they finally met up, Mingyu was confused as to why his colleague was walking toward their table with eye smiles. Then the realization hit him as soon as Seokmin turned his head around and excitedly jogged to give the man a peck on his lips. On the other hand, Joshua wasn't so surprised to see Mingyu on the other side of the table, since his fiance often showed him the picture of three of them together.
