20. where is Shanaya?

Saransh's Pov

As I was attending to the guests, I couldn't help but notice that Shanaya was nowhere to be found. I checked a few places, but she was nowhere to be seen. A faint sense of tension crept up on me, my mind starting to wonder where she might be and why she hadn't bothered to let me know. I tried to shake off the feeling, telling myself she was probably just powdering her nose or something, but the unease lingered.

I went to Ikshit and asked, "Ikshit, where's Shanaya?" He replied, "She must be around here somewhere." But just then, my phone rang, and I saw Shanaya's name on the screen. I answered, and her voice was barely audible, "Sar...ansh." I was taken aback, my heart racing as I realized she was crying. I had put the phone on speaker, and Ikshit's eyes widened in concern as he too heard Shanaya's distraught voice.

Shanaya's voice was barely audible on the phone, "Saransh...save me..." before the call cut off. Ikshit and I exchanged worried glances and rushed to the car. We started driving but had no idea where we were headed. Ikshit suggested, "Maybe Rishabh has kidnapped Shanaya again?" I reassured him, "He's in jail, it's not possible." Ikshit then mentioned Anurag Ahuja, and I was confused, "What about Anurag Ahuja?" Ikshit shared his suspicions, "I've been noticing the way he looks at Shanaya, it doesn't feel right. I have a doubt about him." I defended Anurag, "He's my business friend, he's not capable of this." Ikshit insisted, "We'll track Shanaya's phone location, and if it matches Anurag's, I'll kill him for sure." I agreed, "Do it, track her phone." Despite my faith in Anurag's character, Ikshit's doubts had planted a seed of uncertainty in my mind.

Ikshit's eyes narrowed as he tracked Shanaya's location, his fingers flying across the screen. The result made his heart race - Shanaya was at the Silver Hotel. He quickly tracked Anurag's location, and his suspicions were confirmed - they were in the same place. "I told you, we can't always trust those we think we can," Ikshit Said to Saransh "Anurag must have had something going on with Shanaya, and when he saw her engagement with you, he snapped and kidnapped her." Ikshit's mind raced with the implications, his determination to rescue Shanaya and uncover the truth burning brighter than ever.
