I woke up feeling a bit better than the day before, but still weak. The events of the previous day lingered in my mind, causing some stress. I got out of bed and headed to the washroom to freshen up. After washing my face and brushing my teeth, I felt a bit more energized.

I walked into the kitchen, my feet dragging slightly on the floor. I opened the fridge and saw the water bottles lined up on the shelf. I touched each one, feeling the cool glass beneath my fingers, and pulled out the coldest one.

Just as I was about to take a sip, Shruti walked into the kitchen, a look of concern on her face. "Shanaya, why are you up? You should be resting," she said, her voice soft but firm.

I took a deep breath and replied, "I'm feeling a bit better, Shruti. I haven't gone to the office in two days, and I have a lot of pending work. I need to get back to it."

Shruti raised an eyebrow. "Arey, chill. I've managed all your work. Everything is taken care of. You just focus on getting better."

I felt a wave of gratitude wash over me. "Thank you so much, Shruti. You're a lifesaver," I said, hugging her tightly.

Just then, Ikshit bhai walked into the kitchen, phone in hand, a smirk on his face. "Terme dimag kam hai toh mein kya karu?" he said into the phone, teasing someone on the other end. "Arey, I've done all your work, and now you're bothering me? Phone rakh, sale!"

I laughed at his antics, feeling a sense of normalcy return. Shruti and Ikshit bhai's presence, their support and banter, it all felt like a balm to my frazzled nerves.

Ikshit bhai hung up the phone and turned to me. "Hey, Shanaya. How are you feeling today?"

I smiled weakly. "A bit better, bhai. Thanks for asking."

He nodded. "Good. Don't worry about work. Shruti and I have got it covered. Just focus on getting your strength back."

I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. I knew I was in good hands with Shruti and Ikshit bhai around. And with their support, I knew I could face whatever challenges lay ahead.
