"NO WAY! I AM PAYING FOR THE FOOD!!" Aurora banged the table and stood up.
She, Sarah and Liam were in the mall's food court, deciding what to have for lunch.
"Shushhh! Aurora! Too loud!" Sarah whispered and gestured for her to sit down.
"No, you shut up. I am paying for the lunch, that's it!"
"Alright! Calm down."
"Hmm, that's better. What would you guys like to have?"
After a long thinking process, they gave their orders and were waiting to collect them when ready. Aurora stubbornly paid.
"Beep." Aurora's buzzer rang, and her food was ready to be collected.
"Beep." Liam's buzzer rang too.
"You sit. I will get our food." Liam got up and went.
"Why are you guys' food ready? When I am the most hungriest!" Sarah whined.
Aurora giggled and gave her a pat on the back. Liam came back with the food tray and placed them on the table. They sat there jobless.
"Why are you guys waiting? Eat!" Sarah furrowed.
"You sure? Your food hasn't come yet." Aurora questioned.
"Yeah, it's okay! Come on, eat."
Liam and Aurora started eating. Right after their first bite, Sarah's buzzer rang.
----------------Aurora POV----------------
Sarah got up, "Yay! My food's ready! I will be back, guys."
Oh shit, no, no, no. Sarah can't leave me and Liam all alone by ourselves. This isn't good.
I grabbed Sarah's arm, "Hey! I will come with you."
"What, why? I am not bringing luggage; it's just my food tray. You eat" Sarah left them.
I saw her leave and turned my head to look at Liam. He just sat there with his cute smile. Well, this is awkward. I took a gulp and continued to eat. I just don't get it; why does everything Liam does look so cute? He literally looks like a golden retriever devouring his food.
My heart is going ba-dump ba-dump and I have butterflies in my stomach. Ugh, I'm not too fond of this feeling.
"Are you gonna eat? Or just keep staring at me?" Liam smirked looking at me.
I choked on my saliva and started coughing. Shit, I was staring too obviously.
"Are you okay? Drink water," He passed the bottle. I took huge sips.
"Fuck, where are you, Sarah?" I murmured and ate my food.
"What did you say?" Liam squinted his eyes, "Oh, you got food bits on the corner of your mouth."
"Oh, really?" I picked up the napkin to wipe my mouth. I had to be careful not to smudge my lipstick. Sarah demanded that I wear a bit of makeup.
"You are literally wiping everywhere but not there," Liam chuckled and got up, "I will clean it for you."
No, no, stay away. But I could only say it in my mind. He came and sat next to me. He pulled the chair to come closer and wiped the bit with a napkin.
Wow, he is so close to me. We gaze into each other's eyes. I blush and steam. His hair is so fluffy, I want to feel it. He smiles sweetly and I look down and fiddle. Why am I embarrassed?
"Hey, I am back! What's happening?" Sarah glanced us back and forth.
"Nothing much. She had food on her face, helped her to clean it." Liam answered.
"Eat properly, Aurora. Anyways, are you sitting here, Liam? I will sit on the opposite chair then."
No, no, no.
"No, it's okay. My food tray is there. You sit here." Liam changed seats.
I was relieved but a part of me was sad. Why?
We enjoyed our food and went back to the dorm. The day had ended. Liam walked with us to our room, "Bye, ladies. Goodnight!"
"Goodnight!" Sarah unlocked our room. And, just when I was about to enter, Liam pulled me aside, "Hey, got to give you something."
He removed a bracelet from his pocket, "Got this while shopping, it's for you."

It was a black and red woven bracelet. The red was shaped like a heart and it had white beads at the ending threads. It was beautiful.
Liam started blabbering nervously, "It's not very fancy. I thought you were the type of person who likes simple stuff. And I think red looks pretty on you, so I thought-"
"I LOVE it." I held his hand.
"Really?" his eyes gleamed just like a happy golden retriever. So cute.
"Yes! Yes! It is so pretty. Thank you so much, Liam."
"You're welcome, Aurora. My pleasure."
He left for his dorm, and I changed clothes to sleep. The bracelet was clutched against my chest and dozed off on my bed. I know I will be smiling while sleeping tonight.
