For the big day, Aurora had to dress up accordingly. "Huh, Emily left her dress for me", she held it, "Ew, so short and girly. I will never wear this. Let me pack this in my bag as a memory instead."

She wore skinny black jeans and a blue shirt with white polka dots. And over it, she wore a loose, light grey sweater with black designs.

Then, she Dutch braided her long hair and looked at herself in the mirror, "Perfect"

Then, she Dutch braided her long hair and looked at herself in the mirror, "Perfect". And proceeded to go downstairs.

"Did you take the warm clothes for winter?" Mrs Baker asked.

"Yes, Mom", Aurora replied like a robot.

"Stationary?"

"Yes, Mommm"

"And what about snacks in case you are hungry?"

"Yesss, Mom, I took EVERYTHING."

"Oh, what about undergarments?" Mrs Baker whispered.

Adam bursted out laughing behind at the main door.

"Mommmm!" Aurora whined.

"Alright, alright. I am sorry, I am just worried about you, my baby" Mrs Baker caressed her cheek.

"I get it, Mom. But I am all grown-up now; I can take care of myself."

"Right. Do call at least once a week."

"Mom, I will call whenever you feel like talking to me and also text you about everything that happened at the end of the day. I will not forget, I promise, how can I?"

Mrs Baker smiled and nodded.

"Should I take my leave now?" Aurora placed her hands on Mrs Baker's shoulders.

"Yes, dear."

"I will miss you guys", she hugged Mrs Baker.

"We will miss you too."

Aurora looked at Adam, "Come here, idiot!"

She extended her arms, waiting for Adam to hug her.

He smiled and came over to give her a tight one, "Don't forget protection while doing it", he whispered.

She struck him hard in the gut with her elbow, and he flinched, "Ouch!"

"Alright then! I will get going!" Aurora waved to both.

She got into her car and started it. "Bye, Auroraaa! Take care!" they waved back, and she drove her way. "Come on, Aurora, you can do this", she murmured nervously.

Aurora arrived at the gates of Crestwood Heights Academy. They were tall enough to make even the most confident person feel small, made of wrought iron and adorned with intricate detailing.

"Umm, hi! I am a student of Crestwood Heights Academy", she showed her ID card to the security guard. He nodded and opened the gates. She drove ahead. The driveway leading up to the academy was long, lined with well-manicured hedges and trees. "Damn! How much did they spend on this?" she was stunned, "Wow, what a waste of money."

She parked at the slot exclusively for students and got out of the car to have a look. The campus was a sight to behold, with impressive architecture spread over several acres and included multiple buildings, each dedicated to specific areas of study. The structure was made with red bricks and traditional elements. Elegant and sophisticated.

"Man, I can smell rich people here", she strolled, looking at the towering walls. While distracted, a figure running at high speed bumped into her. She fell on her butt, "Ouch, watch where you are going!"

The figure extended a hand to her, "I am so sorry." It was a guy. Wait, not just a guy, but a handsome one.
