After giving an in-depth explanation in the meeting room, Aurora squinted her eyes, "Everyone? So what do you think?"

All the council members were left in awe. "Aurora, wow! You present so well. Loved your explanation," one of them commented.

"You know, what? Don't you think she should join the student council? I mean, she is already an academically excellent student. She would be amazing," another one suggested.

Noah nodded, "That's a good idea. She should."

"What? No! I am not good at this leadership thing. I would suck, trust me." Aurora shook her head.

"Don't make a decision now. Give it a thought first; our council team is always open for new members." Noah smiled.

"Alright, I guess. So where are you guys planning the school trip to be?"

"That is a good question. We will think about a nice place. Everyone agreed?"

Everyone nodded.

"Alright! Meeting's concluded then."

Everyone started leaving the meeting room. Aurora was too but Noah stopped her, "Hey! Going back to the dorm?"

"Yep," Aurora replied.

"May I walk you there then, my lady?"

"Of course! You may, my lord."

They giggled and walked to the hallway. A guy came running from the opposite direction. Aurora dodged as he almost bumped into her, "Sorry! Excuse me!"

"What the heck! Watch where you going!" Aurora shouted at him.

Another guy came running behind him. This guy was chasing him, and as Aurora was distracted he bumped right into her.

---------------Noah POV---------------

As I steadied Aurora in my arms after she stumbled, I felt an overwhelming urge to protect her, "Whoa, are you okay?"

She nodded.

"Hey! You guys better be careful!" I warned the students as they ran and exited the hallway.

I looked at Aurora again. She was blushing, and I realized why. In that brief instant of closeness, I could feel her rapid heartbeat and the warmth of her presence. As I locked eyes with her, I saw a blend of surprise and gratitude on her face, and for a moment, time seemed to stand still amidst this bustling hallway. Her face was so close to mine, which made me have an unexpected but undeniable rush of emotion.

She was so cute and pretty.

I helped her to stand back on her feet, "Be careful. Did you get hurt?"

She shook her head; she was too surprised to speak. I found it adorable.

One of the classroom's doors opened, and Liam came out. He froze as he glanced back and forth at me and my arm around Aurora's shoulder. In that quick instance, he studied her expressions. His eyes clearly turned to display jealousy. I instinctively let go of her from my hold and stepped back. But wait, why am I stepping back? I fought  with my own thoughts.

Liam lifted his arm and opened his mouth to speak. But before he could, I took Aurora's hand and pulled her with me to keep walking. I was kind of relieved she didn't notice his presence.

We walked and reached Aurora's dorm room. She still couldn't look me in my eyes. "Um, thanks for saving me," she stared at the ground.

I placed my finger below her chin and lifted it so our eyes could meet, "It was my pleasure, my lady."

Within milliseconds she turned red. She backed out and went into her room, "See ya, Noah!"

I chuckled, "See you too, Aurora."

Wow, she's really cute.

Author's Note: Eeeeeee! Wow, Aurora and Noah had a moment! Though Liam saw them, what will he think?
