Aurora pulled a novel out of her shelf, "This one is nice." She cozily sat on the bed and started reading. Sarah came out of the washroom with a mud mask on her face, "Hey, you like reading?"

"Yeah, I do. But, wtf are you doing?" she squinted her eyes.

"Oh, skincare. It's important. Anyways, if you like reading, why don't you visit the school's library?"

"Shut up! The school has a library?"

"Wow, which school doesn't?"

"Ah, right. I am going!"

"Whoa, wait, put on one of the clothes we bought and some makeup."

"Why?"

"You are not going out in this attire, Aurora Baker!"

"Alright, I will! Fine?"

Aurora dressed up and left for the library. The library was in a completely different building. Oh god, no, the entire building was the library. It was huge, with towering bookshelves stretching as far as the eye could see. The ceiling was high, with beautiful murals and fancy chandeliers giving the place a warm and welcoming feel. People were quietly browsing the shelves, creating a peaceful atmosphere. There were comfy spots to sit and read, and quiet corners for studying. The place smelled like old books and leather, and the big windows let in lots of natural light, making it a nice space to get lost in a good book.

Aurora wandered around the shelves of different genres, "Hmm, fantasy would be nice." She found an interesting book, but it was kept at a height Aurora failed to reach. She tip-toed, yet her fingers could just graze the cover.

That's when a tall figure came behind her, the hands reached and pulled out the book. She got startled and turned.

"Want this book?" Noah was standing really close, keeping enough space only to let the air pass. She tried to step back, but the shelf was behind. She had no space.

His cologne made her giddy as it was pleasant and inviting. She couldn't quite point out the specific scent. It had a harmonious blend of notes such as citrus and florals, which was balanced and sophisticated. The fragrance was not overpowering but rather left a subtle trail that was both refreshing and alluring. It had confidence and charm, just like Noah.

She had an intrusive thought to smell it more closely.

"Yes," she shyly nodded.

He gave the book to her, "Here."

"Thanks. Umm?" She looked down at her feet.

"Oh, sorry," he realized and backed out, "By the way, you look absolutely gorgeous."

"Oh, thanks! It's all Sarah's work."

"I figured that out," he chuckled, "Are you here to borrow new books?"

"Yeah, and you?"

"I have a student council meeting in the conference room. It will start in about 15 minutes."

"Oh wow, that's cool. What's the meeting about? If you don't mind me asking."

"The students of Crestwood High are voting for something special to take place except prom since it is the last year. We can't figure out what it should be."

"Hmm, that's interesting," Aurora gave it a thought, "I have an idea, why don't you do the cliché school trip?"

"Oh, wow! That is a good idea, Aurora! We didn't think of this before."

"Well, thank you."

"You know what? You should present this idea yourself in the meeting. After all, it is your idea, you should take the credit."

"What? No! It's okay you can take the credit. It's nothing special!"

"No, no, no. You are presenting! Come on!" He grabbed her hand and took her to the meeting room with him.

Author's Note: Aurora is presenting in the meeting?! She doesn't like being the center of attention though, how will she deal with this situation?
