Manvik just came from outside after doing his work. Lataa has already told her husband and her younger son about kavya, now only manvik was left.
"Jii boliye maa" (Yes , say maa)
He said sitting beside her.
"Tere liye ladki pasand kar li h mene, parso dekhne Jaa rahe h hum unhe. Tuje koi aitraaz to nahi na?"

"Aapne pasand ki h to achhi hi hogi , muje koi aitraaz nahi h"

Lataa nodded smiling
Manvik went to his room and smiled a little. He always wanted a companion but was never interested in such things as well that's why he always denied other proposals.
But now , he also needs someone to be beside him and he was ready for marriage now.

Delicious recipes were being made and kavya was being decorated by her bhabhi as today , her sasural waale were coming to see her.
She was looking very pretty as always. She was wearing a maroon Rajasthani poshak and her face was covered swiftly when ladke waale arrived.
It was only lataa , annpurna, shikha (lataa's sister) and saarika (shikha's daughter)
Kavya's bhabhi handed kavya tray of tea cups and took her in the hall where everyone was seated.
Kavya kept her gaze down as she served everyone tea. She was made to sit down by her bhabhi as all the women looked at her.
Lataa gave 'you did a good job' look to annpurna and she smiled.
They had few talk
"Ab kuch lene Dene ki baat kar le , mukhiya ki patni ban ne jaa rahi h to 6 kg Sona , aapki taraf se hamare rishtedaaro ko ek ek chandi ki ganpati ji ki chhoti murti , aur apne kamre ki chal saamgri (furniture) itna Dena pade ga"
(Now let's talk about dowry, she going to be wife of mukhiya, so she has to bring 6 kg gold , small ganpati statues of chandi should be given by you to our relatives and furniture for her room)
Meena looked at Jaya and agreed to whatever lataa said.
Her husband told her to agree whatever demand they have...he said that he doesn't have to do anything of all this as his son is married and all that is left is his daughter's
Lataa smiled widely and gave shagoon to Kavya.
They decided to make her their bahu. And pandit decided the dates
The marriage will be held after 2 months. Lataa made kavya wear a ring as engagement and took ring of manvik from Meena.

2 months passed by quickly while preparing for Kavya's marriage.
It was manvik's and Kavya's marriage today.
Kavya was adorned with heavy jamnagari joda with beautiful jewelleries...
She looked no less than a queen.

She was looking ethereal... Her parents got emotional as they saw their daughter looking like a woman today.
She grew up very beautifully, her family members hugged her and few tears slipped their eyes.
Her brother gifted her gold bangles and made her wear it on her special day.
She was made to wear red jamnagari odhani which covered her face. Her dark mehndi cladded hands wear decorated with haath panjaas
Soon bride was told to be taken in the mandap.
Slowly kavya was brought their and was made to sit on her seat besides her soon to be husband.
Manvik didn't spare glance at kavya and even kavya was not able to see him because her gaze were lowered.
She was told to always keep them low because her mother says not every man will turn out to be like your father or brother.
The pandit started to chant mantras as kavya hand was placed on manvik's hand.
She felt shiver running down her spin . It was first time she touched a man who isn't her father or brother.
Then they had feras.. Soon it was time to fill vermilion in her parted hairline.
The veil was taken of from her face as well as her mangtika was raised a bit to make space for vermilion.
Manvik looked at her face before filling vermilion in her parted hairs. He wanted to look at her more but her face was again covered with veil.
She was looking beautiful to him , he wanted to see her eyes but because of her lowered gaze ,he couldn't
He was given nuptial chain and he forwarded himself to tie it around her neck.

Her soft skin glided with his skin as he peaked at her face through her veil.
Soon marriage function came to end and it was time for vidaai
Kavya cried hugging her parents and her brother and bhabhi a lot.
She didn't was happy but scared as it was time for her to leave them. Reality hit her hard , she didn't knew if she will be treated well their, if everyone will love her or not.
She was scared to face the dislike of her in-laws.
She was then made to sit in dolly as it went off.
In an hour , they reached haveli, which was going to be her new home.
