Kavya woke up and went to bathroom to get her morning routine done but realised something....she got her periods...
And women were not allowed to touch anything in the house during this time.
Kavya after getting ready went down to inform this to her maasa who was sitting on cot.
Lataa looked at kavya raising her eyebrows.
"Kyu sir pe aake khadi h?"
"W-woh maasa mera mahina Aaj shuru hua h-"
Lataa looked at her with wide eyes.
"To tu yaha kya kar Rahi hai? Jaldi se apne kamre me jaa"
Lataa spoke like kavya has done some crime.
"Ji maasa"
She was going to go when lataa spoke again
"Aur haa jab Tak mahina khatam na ho tab tak apne kamre se bahar mat nikalna. Bindiya khana tuje waha hi de jaayegi aur niche bistar laga kar Sona apne kamre me"
Lataa said making weird face.
Kavya felt bad about how she reacted but went to her room.
She took out matters from the cupboard and prepared it for herself. She was feeling cramps really bad.
While she was preparing her matters, manvik woke up.
"Kya kar rahi hai yeh tu subah subah"
He spoke in his husky voice, while sitting up.
He came near her and held her hand but kavya quickly pulled it from his hold and nervously stated.
"Aap muje chhuiye mat , woh um...mera mahina shuru ho gaya h to me niche hi soungi kuch din"
Manvik closed hus eyes and backed away. So now she will not let him touch and caress her.
Frustrated manvik asked sarcastically
"Aur aap kitne din niche soyegii?"
Kavya glance at him before looking down again
"4-5 din"
"Kuch zyada samas nahi hai yeh mujse dur rehne ka?"
Kavya didn't had any answer....what can she say, this is not in her hands. It is natural thing. she didn't knew why everyone was being angry.
Manvik took his clothes and went to bathroom with a frown plastered on his face.
Kavya sighed and sat on the matter. What will she do now , sitting here ideally for this days....at her house , she was given work which she can do while sitting but here maasa has strictly told her to not touch anything.
She looked out of the window and saw the sun rising and crops in the farms floating like water because of the fresh air.
It was peaceful but her body was not at peace. Slowly each part of her body started paining.
Her legs , her back , her lower stomach. She was not able to sit properly as well.
Manvik came out with his paijama with his bare chest in view infront of kavya. Kavya gulped and didn't raised her head again.
After getting ready, manvik spoke while nearing the shared cupboard of the couple.
"Mera rumaal kaha hai?"
"Woh Jo aapke kapdo ki taraf wala daraaj(drawer) hai usme hai.."
Manvik took his handkerchief and went out of the room.
Kavya sensed that manvik was still upset with her.
That whole day manvik didn't talk to her and kavya was provided food inside her room. She didn't found anything to do so she had to sit ideally whole day.
At night also manvik slept back facing her and she slept on mattress.
Next day was the same but today she was feeling more pain in her lower abdomen.
She tried to not show her pain infront of manvik and was successful till night.
At night when he came back , he saw kavya's plate of still almost full. He looked at the figure on mattress clutching her stomach slightly.
She was looking outside but her face was reflecting pain.
" Kuch ho raha hai kya tuje?"
Manvik asked frowning in concern while coming near her.
Kavya flinched due to his sudden presence in the room.
"Nahi bas t-thoda paet me dard hai.."
"Dard thoda to nahi lag raha"
He said kneeling infront of her. Resulting in them being face to face.
Kavya looked down when another wave of cramp hit her. She closed her eyes and joined her lips tight to prevent wincing.
"Ruk , bindiya ko bolta hu tere liye garam dudh le aaya....usse shayad thoda aaram mile"
"N-nahi uski koi zarurat n-"
"Tujse puch nahi Raha"
Saying that he got up and went out.
He came in after a while and went inside bathroom to freshen up...
Bindiya came and gave kavya milk which really did help kavya because of the warmness of the milk.
Manvik came out and sat on the bed facing her.
"Kesa lag raha hai , dard me kuch fark hua?"
Kavya nodded
"Ab thoda thik lag raha hai"
Manvik smiled lightly at her making her heart flutter. She looked down shyly.
"Ab soja taaki pura dard chala jaaye"
Saying this he blew the lamp off and slept. Kavya doing the same on mattress.
She was relaxed that they both were back in good terms.

Those 5 days went fast as kavya found a new hobby and that was sewing.
Her time passed good as she sewed patterns on her handkerchiefs and plain clothes.
Today finally her periods were over. She did her morning routine and got ready.
She did Pooja and got back on her previous routine.
Making chai for everyone, she took manvik's chai to her room.
Manvik came out of bathroom and looked at her.
"Khatam ho gaya?"
Kavya nodded.... slowly blush taking over her cheeks as manvik smirked and came near her.
He took the tea and kept it aside .
He encircled his arms around her waist and pulled her to himself.
Due to the jolt Kavya's hands landed on manvik's hard built chest.
Manvik snuggled in her neck and inhaled her fragrance.
"Jab Tak tumhari khushboo nahi leta tab Tak mann ko shanti nahi hotii. Mere haath tumhe chhune ko tadap rahe thhe aur yeh hoth tumhare hothon ko nahi chhute tab Tak din acha nahi jata"
He said tightening his grip on her.
She giggled at his cheesy line while he looked at her.
"Has kya rahi ho , tumhe pata hai kese mene yeh 5 din nikaale hai"
He captured her lips hungrily and devoured her mouth.
But he has to detach himself from her as he had to go to work.
