"Kavu"
Manvik spoke as kavya opened her eyes.
She looked at him confused and tried to sit up but manvik denied
"Leti reh "
Kavya shook her head and manvik couldn't deny so he helped her sit up.
"Kya hua thha muje? Kya phir se chakkar aa gaye thhe?"
Manvik was going to nod but stopped
"Kya matlab 'phir se'? Pehle kitni baar chhakkar aaye hai tuje?"
Kavya's eyes widen in realisations. she didn't spoke and looked down.
"Kavu , mene tuje kuch pucha hai, pehle kitni baar aaye hai tuje chhakkar?"
"Bas ek baar hi aaye hai isse pehle aap chinta mat kijiye"
Manvik held her hands softly, he thought she will be angry on him or atleast be upset but she........
"Kab aaye thhe?"
Kavya hesitate in telling him.
"W-woh is d-din jab mene khana nahi banaya thha u-us din aaye thhe. Issi vajah se dusre din muje der ho gai t-thi. Jese hi muje hosh aaya , me taiyaar h-hokar niche aa gai par aa sabko laga ki m-mei-"
Tears rolled down her cheeks as manvik felt pang in his heart. She was weak from that day and then too he treated her like this and even slapped or when she just woke up after fainting for almost 12 hours.
He didn't let her complete and pulled her to his chest and hugged her tightly.
The guilt was eating him up.
He hugged her tightly and digged his face in her neck as she sobbed. He wanted to cry on her shoulder too because of what he did with her. But he controlled.
"Muje maaf kar de kavu , mene tuje kitni haani pohchaai hai.... Tere dard me soch bhi nahi sakta. Meri hi galti hai, mene tujse baat karna band kar diya. Tu bata hi nahi paayi kisiko ki tujpe kya guzar Rahi hai"
He said while caressing her back.
Breaking the hug , he wiped her tears and kissed her cheeks.
"Mere kaam ke gusse ki vajah se Mene dhyaan hi nahi diya. Par mene maa se kaha hai kal hi naukrani aa jayegi nayi. Tu ab aaraam kar , ved ne bhi yahi kaha hai. Aur Rona band kar."
He said continuosly wiping her tears which were escaping her eyes every sec.
He hugged her again and consoled her.

The couple was sitting there talking ,manvik speaking mostly when manvik noticed kavya scratching her neck again and again.
"Kya hua?"
He asked
Kavya shook her head side to side
"Kuch nahi , bas yeh mangalsutra thoda bada aur bhari hai isliye gale pe thodi jalan hoti hai kabhi kabhi"
Manvik nodded understandingly when lataa came with glass of juice.
Seeing her kavya quickly started to put her pallu on her head.
"Rehne de beta , yeh le ye pijaa thodi Shakti aayegi"
Lataa said stopping kavya and making her shocked.
She took the glass of juice from her maasa and drank it.
"Kesi hai tabiyat Teri? Kuch ho to nahi Raha na?"
Lataa said and checked her temperature which was lower than before.
"Mein thik hu maasa"
Kavya said with a wealth smile.
But from inside she was overwhelmed that her mother-in-law showed care toward her.

The caring said of lataa stayed for three days and she went back to her old self as kavya became better again.
Aarti and Divya were new maids and did almost all the work of haveli and even helped kavya in kitchen sometimes .
Lataa again started nagging her like a normal mother-in-law of 1970s. Manvik took utmost care of kavya this days. He even offered to massage her legs but kavya didn't let him.

Today manvik has to go to City to take final papers of his field in village as it was ready and lawyer called him to sign and take the papers.
"Chal ab me chalta hu , tu apna khayal rakhna. Zara saa bhi chhakkar aaye to kahi Beth jaana jaldi se. Aur paani piti rehna. Khana thik se khana.."
Manvik spoke as he was getting ready looking at the mirror. He stopped when he didn't got any response. He looked at kavya who was admiring him with a small smile.
Manvik smiled
"Tu sun bhi rahi hai?"
Kavya nodded.
Manvik encircled his hands around her waist and pulled her close. Kissing her both the cheeks he stood up straight.
"Aap bhi apna khayal rakhiyega"
Kavya said , manvik nodded and made his way downstairs and then out of the house after taking blessings of his parents.
In these days , manvik didn't tried to get intimate or even kiss her on her lips. He wanted her to get recover properly first.
He had another ways of showing her his love, it was smooching her cheeks every possible time he gets any chance. And kavya was recovering both physically and mentally.
Two days passed normally in blurr

Manvik was back home today.
He went to meet kavya first in the kitchen and hugged her , kissing her cheeks he asked about how she is feeling and all.
In the answer kavya just denied and said she was all okay.
He left her again after smooching her two three times.
Kavya chuckled happyly as manvik went out.
After that everyone had dinner and went to their rooms.
Aarti and Divya helped kavya to tide the kitchen up and went to their home. After seeing aarti and Divya off , kavya made her way to her bedroom.
While ascending the stairs, she lift up her nuptial chain away from her neck to let some air touch her skin which was red due to irritation from her nuptial chain.
She left the chain as she reached her room. After entering the room , she closed the door behind her and noticed manvik looking at her while smiling lightly.
"Aap muje ese kyu dekh rahe hai?"
Kavya asked confused..
