"Woah look who we have here," Merle said setting his gun on the ground and putting his hand and other "hand" in the air as if he was surrendering. Looks like when he escaped the rooftop, he cut off his hand and now it's replaced with a knife. I kept my gun on him though because Merle wasn't always trustworthy. The small amount of time I spent with him and Daryl many months ago, he was always trying to test people's patience and trust. He was always up to something it was usually never good.

"Wow... Lauryn.. I thought I would never see you again. Then again, I never thought I would see anybody again because you all left me for dead!" Merle yelled taking a step forward causing Maggie and I to step towards Merle keeping are guns pointed at his head. He realized he was a threat and took a step back.

"Lauryn, just tell me my baby brother is safe. Is he alive?" Merle pleaded trying to act all innocent and caring for Daryl. Merle did care about his brother, but he also bullied him into a lot of things and thought he knew better because he was the older brother.

I hesitated for a moment, deciding if I should lie to Merle or not and playing out the scenarios of both situations, "Yeah he's alive. If you want to see him, I'll tell him you are here and he will come to meet you."

"Hold up. Hold up. Hey the fact we found each other is a miracle. Come on, now. You can trust me," Merle said smiling at us which told me everything I need to know and that is absolutely do not trust him.

"You trust us. You stay here," I commanded hoping he would back down. Merle smiled before pulling another pistol from a back holster. I shot at him, but hit his knife hand which didn't affect him at all. He quickly shot out the rear window of my truck before charging at us. Maggie and I ran to get into the truck, but Merle grabbed Maggie. As I turned the corner aiming my pistol at his head he had Maggie on the ground with his pistol shoved into her temple.

"Let go of her Merle!" I yelled furious that I let this situation get out of hand. "Get in the truck and we are gonna go for a little drive," he said motioning for me to get in the driver's seat. I couldn't risk Maggie's life and followed Merle's instructions. I lower my pistol in defeat and slowly get into the truck.

"I'm not taking you back to camp," I said putting the key in the ignition as Merle and Maggie got in the backseat. He still held her tight with his pistol to her head.

"No, we're going somewhere else," he said with a mischievous smile.

I took off down the road following Merle's directions. The entire time I was coming up with plans to escape, but I couldn't decide on one since I had no idea where we were going. It was a very silent car ride.

"You bastard, you broke my rear window," I said gripping the steering wheel a little harder. I was mad he broke my window. I was mad he threatened us. Most importantly, I was mad at myself for letting the situation get out of control and now I was one of his hostages.

Merle laughed, "You and this damn truck. Do you still have all your ammo and guns back here? The governor would be pleased to have some extra weaponry."

Governor? Who the hell was he talking about? Unfortunately, I think we will find out soon enough.

About another 30 minutes went by and we pulled up to a wall outside of what looked like a town. There were men standing on the wall, armed shooting down walkers that were surrounding my truck. Once the walkers were taken care of, the men jumped down from the wall and opened my door pulling me out. As I stepped out I clocked one of them in the face and he fell to the ground. Immediately two more men grabbed me and held me back. "You have to watch out for this one boys, she's a fighter," Merle chuckled. They tied my hands behind my back and started to pat me down. They pulled a magazine out of my back pocket and 2 knives from each leg holster down by my ankles. Then they found my iPod in my other back pocket and took that too. As they continued to pat me down, one of them tried to do it in a sexual way and I wasn't having it. I headbutted the guy and gave him a bloody nose. Merle rolled his eyes, "I thought I told you two idiots, she's a fighter she won't go down easy." Before I knew it they blindfolded me and had a strong grip on my wrists.
