I woke up to Daryl drawing random shapes on my stomach with his finger. "Morning beautiful," he said propping himself up on his forearm before leaning down to kiss me. "Good morning my handsome husband," I booped his nose and giggled at the confused look on his face. "I love you so much," he said kissing my forehead before standing up to put his clothes back on. " I love you too, but I would love it even more if we could just stay up here all day...naked" I smirked at him and he turned around to look at me and his cheeks were bright red. " You know I would love that too, but we have to go down and at least get some food first," he said putting his vest on before offering his hand to help me stand up. I grab his hand he pulls me up fast into his arms. "As much as I wish you could walk around like this all day, I don't want anyone else looking at my wife's hot body," he said before smacking my butt which made me moan at the memories of last night.

We both finished getting dressed and walked down the stairs of the guard tower to cell block C. I tried to brush through my hair so it didn't look too obvious and crazy. " There's the love birds," Carol remarked as she put two bowls of rice and eggs on the table for Daryl and I.

"Thank you, Carol," I said giving her a hug before sitting down to eat. I saw Rick and Glenn with their heads down at the other table. They might have partied a little too hard last night.

We quickly scarfed down our eggs as we knew we had to go on another run today. Daryl and Rick didn't bring back that much food and supplies from their run the other day. Rick and Glenn did not look like they were up to go scavenging so it would just be Daryl and I today.

"Ready to go?" I asked standing up and slinging my rifle over my back. "Lauryn why don't you stay and help Hershel get more stability with his crutches? Glenn, Daryl and I can go on the run," Rick offered and I wasn't going to complain that I don't have to go out a fight walkers for food today.

"Sounds good to me, Hershel ready to beat me in a race?" I asked jokingly causing Hershel to stand on up with his crutches, " Oh you know it. I'm going to be faster than all of you," Hershel said making his way over to me.

Rick went to give Lori a kiss goodbye before getting in the car with the guys. Rick and Lori's relationship has been a little rocky ever since he confessed that he killed Shane. I'm still a little pissed at him for it, but I forgave him because he did what he had to do. He had to kill his best friend or else he would be dead.

The guys were gone for a little over an hour so you know either they hit the jackpot and were stocking up on a ton of food or they ended up in a difficult situation. I was going to give it another hour before I went looking for them. Maggie and I set up an obstacle course for Hershel to help him become a little more mobile and get used to moving quickly with crutches. Beth was by his side the whole time in case he needed help. He was doing great though. Maggie had a huge smile on her face the whole time, seeing her dad thrive even in the most unexpected circumstances.

About ten minutes later, we heard the car pull up. Rick, Daryl, and Glenn got out of the car holding up bags upon bags of packaged food. We might actually be able to eat three meals a day for a little while. They walked up to the fence with smiles on their faces as they saw Hershel getting around so well, but their smiles quickly dropped staring at something behind us.

"Walkers!" Carl yelled making all of us turn around to see a small hoard of walkers stumbling out of one of the prison doors. How did they get in here??

"No!" Ricked yelled running as fast as he could with Daryl and Glenn right on his trail. "Laur!" Daryl yelled sprinting like his life depended on it.

There is no way they would make it all the way through the courtyard to us in time to help take down the walkers. I knew we were going to have to make a run for it at some point.
