"BLAIR YOU CAN'T JUST NOT cheer." irene said, sitting with her best friend on the empty bleachers.

"i have to pep in me to cheer for this stupid team, for this stupid boy who is such an ass!" blair said, getting louder in every word she said.

"don't let dylan ruin something you genuinely enjoy." irene said. "he rejected me...i thought he liked me!"

blair stayed quiet, and then looked at irene. "this is your fault. you convinced me he liked me, that i liked him. you made me make the moves!"

"okay...maybe i did. but i know you guys are meant to be. he's just stupid." irene said.

"he told me we are barley even friends. you know what im walking home i'm not fucking cheering." blair said, getting up from the bleachers.

"and i'm not going to hoco, screw the stupid game, screw the stupid dance."

"blair-" irene said, running after her friend. "don't bother."

irene knew blair won't listen to her if she convinced her to stay, so unfortunately she had to let her go.

her phone buzzed, seeing a message from her boyfriend. "meet me behind the bathrooms, i gotta tell you something" it read.

ryan stood at the back of the bathrooms, dylan with him. irene walked up, and immediately slapped the shit out of dylan.

"oh!" ryan said, his hand flying to his mouth. "you really hurt blair you know, she's even mad at me now. you're lucky i just don't kill you."

"ryan, get your girlfriend." dylan said with gritted teeth as he held his face. "nah, that was hot." ryan smiled.

"can we focus please, the game starts soon." dylan said. "okay, dylan and i have a plan to fix everything. we decided it yesterday."

"okay?"

"we need your help. you need to keep blair here, like after the game. and for the game." dylan said. "well she's leaving right now.." irene said.

"get her back, oh my gosh ryan we're screwed." dylan panicked. "please babe, just get her back here." ryan said.

"i don't know, you really don't deserve here dylan. that girl will sacrifice anything and everything for the people she cares out. you'll never deserve her after everything." irene said.

"i know, but i can do the same for her. i need one more chance. i've screwed up twice i know, but third time's the charm."

"do you even like her? you told you guys weren't friends." irene crossed her arms.

"i like her, ask ryan. but when i'm nervous i say no. and then i have a past of having a hard time with commitment, and i just, i didn't mean to hurt me. and her going to kiss me just caught me a little bit off guard!" dylan ranted.

"please irene."

irene sighed, she knew even though she currently hated dylan blair still liked him, and him fixing everything with whatever plan the boys had would cheer her up. all she wanted was to see her best friend happy.

"fine."

she took her phone out of the pocket of her cheer hoodie, calling blair. the phone rang for a few seconds and then blair answered, on speaker.

"hey."

"hey blair, um how far are you from the school?"

"maybe about 5 minutes, i'm walking pretty slow."

"i need help with my hair, nobody can do it like you. and i need some face paint, you still have it."

blair sighed from over the phone, "i'll come back, but i'm gone before the start of the game. i'm not joking." she said.

"yeah, of course. bye love you." irene said. "love you too."

"wish that was you huh." irene said to dylan. "no, but she's leaving before the start of the game. mission terribly failed."

"i'm not gonna let her leave before the game, i'm not stupid." irene said, rolling her eyes and the leaving the boys.

5 minutes went by, and blair and irene were in the girls locker room with blair doing irene's hair.

"your hair is so cute, and your hoco hair was even cuter." irene said. "stop trying to change my mind." blair said.

"i'm not! i'm just giving you a compliment." irene said, letting blair curl her hair.

the best friends, were ready for the game. their hair in the team homecoming hairstyle, and red and white on them.

since it was the homecoming game the theme was obviously their school colors, white and red.

the yearbook club had wanted a photo so blair was forced to pretend like she was going to cheer. she put red and white beads on along with white and red stripes of face paint on her.

irene had ryan's number on her face, number 51. blair wished she could've put dylan's number on her face, number 22.

"okay girls the game starts in a few minutes, get the banner and get on the track!" their coach came in and yelled. "woo lets go wolves!" one of the girls said, and the rest of the team cheered.

"oh my gosh you set me up." blair said as she finished irene's hair. "you hate me now, but you'll love me later."
