BLAIR AND DYLAN WERE WALKING home, blair wearing a scarf while her left hand that was interlocked with dylan's right was inside of his pocket.
"well it's almost time for christmas break..." dylan said. "yeah that's like tomorrow." blair said.
"what are you doing for christmas?" dylan asked. "just letting addy open her gifts. that's about it." blair said.
"well...you should come over to mine for christmas. we eat breakfast then we open gifts, and then my parents make dinner while we all play in the snow which hoping it snows this year. and addy can play with my little brother, you can get to know my older sister...and...you spend christmas with your amazing boyfriend who also got you gifts."
"and we all wear matching pjs..."
"see well definitely no, addy and i would be the odd one's out." blair said. "about that...i told my mom i was thinking of having you over for christmas about a week ago, and she went out and got you and addy pjs to match with ours." dylan said.
"well not i can't say no!" blair said. "you can say whatever you want. but i do have a big surprise for you, but if you don't come i can just bring it over to your house." dylan said.
"i don't want to intrude, are you sure i'm not intruding." blair said. "my parents have already accepted you and addy as their own children. my mom got you a pair of our matching pjs." dylan said.
"okay..i'll come over."
"ha! yes! i cannot wait." dylan said. "i also just really want you to feel the true magic of christmas. you're gonna love it." he said, a large smile on his face.
"seems like you're loving it way more than i do." blair joked. "i just can't wait for christmas even more now."
"you're cute." blair laughed at her extremely excited boyfriend. "are you coming over for dinner tonight?" dylan asked.
"yeah i just have to do some cleaning." blair said. "okay i'll see you in...five hours." dylan said.
"i'll see you in five hours." blair smiled. she kissed dylan quickly, removing her hand from his pocket.
"i miss you already." he said against her lips. "you haven't even left yet." blair said.
she pulled away, starting to walk onto her porch. "bye dyl." blair said as she waved. "bye blair."
blair entered her house, sighing deeply in happiness after she did with every interaction with dylan.
happily she walked up to her room, putting her bookbag down and getting the cleaning supplies so she could do a quick clean of the house before her and addy went to the hoffman's for dinner.
—
"so...dylan told us you and addy will be joining us for christmas this year." lissa said. "yeah, if that's okay."
"of course! luckily i got two extra pairs of christmas pajamas!"
"oh my gosh dylan get her money so we can go shopping together." emma suddenly said. "you're not going shopping with her." dylan said.
"i would love to go shopping with you." blair said. "blair!" dylan said turning to her.
"what...your sister is so cool." blair whispered to dylan. "it's a fake, don't fall for it!" dylan said.
"well you cut with your left hand, it proper etiquette." addy said, looking at dylan's litte brother josh.
"i don't care, i'll my steak however i want to." josh said. "okay but it's wrong." addy said.
"do you shut up?" josh said. "i don't know who you're talking to." addy said, snapping at him.
"woah woah you two, what's going on?" mr. hoffman said, or david.
"remember the smartie pants that's in my math class, this is her." josh said, giving addy a dirty look.
"you're just mad that you get the questions wrong when mrs. james calls on you." addy said.
"i'm not spending christmas with her!" josh said, dropping her utensils on his plate.
"well honey, you're going to. and besides...maybe she can help you with math. you need to boost your grade." lissa said.
"mom!"
addy laughed, eating another bite of her steak. "they remind me of us." blair said, leaning into dylan.
"she's even a smartie pants like you."
blair glared at dylan, then hitting his arm. "just because we're dating doesn't mean you can bully me." she said.
"i'm telling the truth! it's not a bad thing..sometimes." dylan said. "do you want me to get violent with you?" blair said.
dylan made a heart with his hands, smiling at his girlfriend.
"wait blair do you do winter cheer?" emma asked. "usually i do, but i don't know this year." blair said.
"they usually make me fly during competitive seasons, so i would be flying...and tumbling." she said.
"i don't think you should, makes you more prone to injuries." dylan said. "you'll be fine." emma said.
"anyways, let me know. i might do it one last time for senior year, it'll be nice to know someone on the team." emma said.
"oh yeah sure! you're a senior, do it just so it's all full circle y'know?" blair said. "yeah that's what i plan on doing."
"okay, no more, i don't like this bonding." dylan said, putting his hand over blair's mouth.
