BLAIR WAS FINALLY BACK IN school, and she was already starting her missing assignments as she sat with dylan, ryan, and irene.

"do you really have to do your missing work now, you have all tonight." dylan said. "actually, i don't. i have a job interview today." blair said.

"job interview?" dylan said. "i didn't even know you got your working papers." irene said.

"i have to get a job, addy's been so good this year that i really want to get her majority of the stuff on her christmas list. and i don't want to ask my dad for more money." blair said.

"why bother, you have an actor boyfriend, who also has parents with high paying jobs." ryan said. "i'm not a gold digger." blair said.

"i'm just saying! a few hundreds, he's your boyfriend it doesn't make you a gold digger." ryan said.

"you know i would." dylan said, looking over at blair. "i don't need your charity." blair said. "blair likes to works for the things herself." irene said.

"well then, good luck on your job interview." ryan said. "thanks, i'll need it." blair said. "you're personality will wow them, don't worry." irene said.

"where are you trying to work?" dylan said. "assistant coach at this cheer gym." blair said.

"oh you totally got the job!" irene said, patting her friend's hand. "your rich boyfriend is still an option..." ryan said.

"stop!" irene said, hitting her boyfriend. "i'm just joking." ryan spoke again.

"are you really." dylan said. "i am! i would never want you to get used." ryan said. "you just said that doesn't make me a gold digger." blair said.

"yeah dude make up your mind." dylan said. "okay both of you stop ganging up on me, i'll shit up and each my lunch." ryan said, eating some of his pasta.

"good idea babe."

dylan and blair were walking hand in hand, dylan having blair's bookbag on his front while he carried his on his back.

he was talking her home, staying over for a bit and then watching addy for her while she went to her job interview.

"you know, it's not charity if i lend you money blair." dylan said. blair sighed, looking over at dylan.

"no, i don't want your money." blair said. "gifts are my love language, it's biting inside to not help you during a hard time." dylan said.

"i'm not going through a hard time, i have a house, i can afford stuff." blair said. "just let me help in some way." dylan said.

"you are helping me! by watching addy as i go to my interview." blair said. "at least a few hundreds, two hundred?" dylan said.

blair gave dylan a disapproving look, and he tried to convince her. "fifty, come on twenty?" he spoke again.

"how about zero."

"blair you're killing me here! i can't not help, i'm you're boyfriend! i care about you, i just need to do something." dylan said.

"why are you being so persistent about this?" blair said, taking out her keys as they got near her house.

"if you're trying to prove something to your friends, don't even bother." she spoke again. "no, no, this is for us. i genuinely want to help you." dylan said.

"i've done everything on my own for years, i appreciate your concern but this is nothing new for me." blair said, the couple entering the house.

"but now you have me, and forget the money, it's not even about that i just want to help you because i know this is gonna stress you out." dylan said.

"i'll handle it." blair said. "you're deflecting again, come on you promised." dylan said. "you're making this way more then it needs to be." blair said.

"i am just trying to help." dylan said. "fine! fine! if you want to help so bad, how about you tell addy we aren't celebrating thanksgiving this year because irene is going out of town this year and u don't know how to make a turkey or cook grand stuff like that!" blair yelled, flailing her arms in anger.

"how about you get me a new macbook because mine is years old, and can't even stand up right anymore, maybe tell addy for me that christmas is so close to being cancelled, oh and even better dylan, if you really want to help me, find a way to get my parents back together."

she watched as dylan stood there in shock, and blair just turned around to face the kitchen. dylan walked up to her, hugging his girlfriend.

blair hesitantly wrapped her arms around him, burrowing her face in his chest. "you know i can't do the last one right?" dylan said.

"i know."

"i didn't mean anything, all of that was hypothetical." blair said. "oh, was it?" dylan said.

"sorry." blair said. "stop apologizing, you didn't do anything wrong." dylan said. "i feel bad, i didn't mean to yell at you." blair said.

"it was reasonable, i was being pretty pushy." dylan said. "yeah but that's just you." blair said.

blair pulled away from their hug, holding dylan's arms. "i need to make a quick dinner, addy's on her way." she said.

"can i help?" dylan said, following her as she walked to the pantry. blair sighed, looking back at dylan.

"yes dylan, you can help."
